Lonnberg: guilty of murder

A jury found the Gilroy woman who killed her daughter and husband in a drunken car crash guilty of second-degree murder Tuesday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol assisted state Board of Equalization investigators in serving a search warrant Tuesday afternoon at the ARCO gas station on the corner of Monterey Road and Cochrane Avenue, according to an officer at the scene.

Store countertops are no place for dirty toddlers

DEAR ABBY: I work in the print center of an office supply store. Often when parents of small children come in to get copies made, they'll sit their babies/toddlers on the counter while we discuss their needs. Sometimes these children have dirty diapers.
