It's a messy business, but thanks to the efforts of the Gilroy High School wrestling and basketball teams, along with first-year volunteers New Hope Community Church, those overseeing one of the Garlic Festival's grittiest jobs made trash patrol operate like a well-oiled machine.

Suspect in connection with string of thefts turns himself in

Due to "pressure from concerned members of the public," family and friends, 22-year-old Colby Worsham – a suspect in connection with three separate burglary incidents this month – self-surrendered to the Morgan Hill Police Department Tuesday for the crimes of burglary, larceny and fraudulent use of credit cards, according to an MHPD press release.
