The Santa Clara Valley Water District will host a community meeting tonight in Morgan Hill to receive feedback on its Open Space Credit policy, which keeps agricultural water rates low.

DEAR ABBY: Thanks to a change in state law, my partner and I can finally marry. We're now struggling with whether to invite our parents and families to our wedding. When I try to say anything, Dad gets defensive over his "stuff," and my mother defends his "pack rat" ways. She says they are his things, not mine.

DEAR ABBY: I'm 16 and have a 13-year-old sister. Our parents are divorced, and we live with our mother. We used to see our dad on visitations every other weekend, but he moved away, so now we see him for two weeks in the summer and one week during Christmas. We talk to him a lot and have a good relationship. We're scheduled to visit him soon.
