St. Mary School participates in Great California ShakeOut Earthquake Drill

St. Mary School students dropped and took cover at 10:17 a.m. Thursday, October 17 as part of the school's participation in the Great California ShakeOut earthquake drill. St. Mary School thanks the Gilroy Fire Department for their help with this drill, which comes on the day of the 24th anniversary of the Loma Prieta earthquake. 

Choir controversy continues

The Gilroy Unified School District Board of Education has no plans to vote on the internal administrative decision barring choir concerts from being held in churches, despite opposition from dozens of parents and students who call the decision “ridiculous,” “terrible” and a “shame.”
