UPDATE: Murder suspect booked early Wednesday morning
Detectives with the Gilroy Police Department have arrested 33-year-old Jerome Moore, of Gilroy, with the murder of another Gilroy man in what began as a physical confrontation near Las Animas Park and became the city's first homicide of 2014.
Andrea Bertero is new sales associate
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Andrea Bertero has affiliated with the company as a sales associate in its Gilroy office. In her new position, Bertero will specialize in residential sales in south Santa Clara County. Bertero recently completed an intensive training program through Chamberlin Real Estate School, which emphasizes the principles and techniques of real estate. Buddy the Lonesome Boy says: Be My Valentine!
Buddy says: I found my foster mom when I was a small kitten wandering the streets in Gilroy. I was very thin, dirty, and very, very hungry. She thought I had more gray patches than I really did, because I had a lot of oil and grease smears on my white fur. When she took me to the vet for something called “neutering” the vet cleaned me up while I was sleeping and I woke up with a lot more white on me. (I still don’t know exactly what they did to me that day, but it sure seems to me like I’m missing something; I haven’t figured out what yet, so I guess it’s o.k.)
