It’s all in a name change
One of Morgan Hill’s most popular public outdoor event facilities is about to get a new name, just in time to welcome one of the South Bay’s – and the nation’s – most familiar faces in rock ‘n’ roll, according to event organizers.
UPDATE: Murder suspect booked early Wednesday morning
Detectives with the Gilroy Police Department have arrested 33-year-old Jerome Moore, of Gilroy, with the murder of another Gilroy man in what began as a physical confrontation near Las Animas Park and became the city's first homicide of 2014.
Andrea Bertero is new sales associate
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage announced that Andrea Bertero has affiliated with the company as a sales associate in its Gilroy office. In her new position, Bertero will specialize in residential sales in south Santa Clara County. Bertero recently completed an intensive training program through Chamberlin Real Estate School, which emphasizes the principles and techniques of real estate.
