HONORS: Jordan Esquivel: Air Force Reserve Airman Jordan A. Esquivel graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

There is boisterous activity in every corner of San Martin Boxing Club. Aspiring boxers, most under the age of 15, spar in the ring, trainers bark out orders and the round-buzzer sounds every two minutes.

Coyote Ridge, the hills east of U.S. 101 near Coyote Creek Golf Club, is once again ablaze with native wildflowers.
