It was just a little less than a year ago that Morgan Hill Pony
Baseball
’s Bronco A all-star team went on a scintillating run that ended
up in Maui, just a few wins away from advancing to the Pony
Baseball Bronco World Series. This season, most of the players and
the manager from that team are back to take another shot at
advancing deep into All-Star play. This time,
Ken Bradley and his charges are a year older and comprise the
MHPB’s Pony 13 all-star team. But their goal is the same: Get to
the World Series. The team will begin its quest at the Pony 13
Section Tournament Saturday at noon at Fisher Middle School in Los
Gatos.

But their goal is the same: Get to the World Series.
The team will begin its quest at the Pony 13 Section Tournament today at noon at Fisher Middle School in Los Gatos.
The MH Pony 13s play Santa Clara in their first-round matchup.
Meanwhile, all four MHPB Pinto division all-star teams also begin section tourney play this weekend.
Both the Pinto A team and the Pinto Gray team play in Morgan Hill at Britton, while the Pinto Gold and Pinto Gold squads head to Calero School in San Jose.
On Saturday, the Pinto A team plays its opener at 11:30am, while the Pinto Grays play later on.
In San Jose, the Pinto Green team plays its opening game against Blossom Valley No. 1 at noon on Saturday, while the Pinto Gold team has a first-round bye and will play the winner of the Lakewood vs. San Jose Pacific No. 2 matchup on Sunday at noon.
Next weekend, the four MHPB Bronco all-star squads and the four Mustang all-star teams will also begin section tourney play.
