This is for all of us who have ever had a “Good Samaritan” come to the rescue. Last Thursday as I was driving to have lunch with a friend, I experienced a blow-out on Highway 101 just before the 85 exit.
As luck would have it, I had given my cell phone to my son to take to work so, there I am standing in the ditch wondering how I could possibly communicate to my road-side service that I needed assistance.
After 10 to 15 minutes of trying to flag down a motorist, a gentleman stopped to offer his help. Wanting only to use his phone, he graciously offered to change my tire to save me some time. In a matter of minutes, and it would have taken less time had the jack in the car been more efficient, my spare was on and I was ready to go.
My “Good Samaritan” turned out to be Franz D. Kinkhorst, published author of The Clone: & Young Again. I understand he will be signing books at the Taste of Morgan Hill, so I urge you to stop by, congratulate him on his kind deed, and to buy his book. I know I will.
