On Friday, March 3, the Kiwanis Club of Morgan Hill generously sponsored a delicious spaghetti dinner for Live Oak Grad Night 2006. We would particularly like to thank the Kiwanis Club and Barbara Kimmich, its coordinator, for all the support given to Grad Night this year. We would also like to thank Eileen Tanaka for doing a wonderful job chairing this event and Stacie Nowak for coordinating the ticket sales.
As many of you know, Grad Night started the year without any seed money. Due to the overwhelming response from local organizations and businesses, a safe and sober Grad Night will take place on June 16 after graduation.
While we are well on our way to a wonderful Grad Night, we are still not at the levels of funding that we need to be. We need to have seed money for next year’s graduating class of seniors.
You may help us in two ways. Please continue your wonderful support in sending us donations. We will take any amount, large or small and will recognize your donation on the evening of Grad Night. Equally important, parents of graduating seniors, please buy your tickets as soon as possible. While we make more money with later ticket purchases, earlier purchases make it easier for us to plan. Tickets are on sale now at the Live Oak ASB office.
We promise a fun evening for everyone. We are decorating at the Grad Night garage on Saturdays mornings (9-12) and Monday evenings (7-9) and welcome any community member, except 2006 graduates!
