The Morgan Hill Dennis Kennedy Aquatics Center ushered in the summer by inviting local residents to swim for free at the facility Friday, June 21. Dozens of parents and children took advantage of the offer to cool down on a hot day as they swam in the center’s multiple pools, played in the fun splash features and jumped off the high dive.
The aquatics center, located at 16200 Condit Road, will host two more free summer swimming days for Morgan Hill residents. These are scheduled for 11:30am to 6:30pm July 19 and Aug. 9. Residents must show proof that they live in Morgan Hill to swim for free.
On other days, a day pass to the aquatics center for non-members costs $7 to $12 (depending on the swimmer’s age) for residents and $11 to $16 for non-residents.
