Recycling Rewards Poster Design Contest, open to all Morgan Hill
students.
Environmental Programs Manager Anthony Eulo, announced this week that the City of Morgan Hill will sponsor the fifth annual Recycling Rewards Poster Design Contest, open to all Morgan Hill students.
Designers of first place-winning posters, in each age category, receive a $100 award.
Interested students and teachers can also contact the Environmental Programs Division at the city by calling 779-7247.
Poster concept and design should relate to recycling or environmental conservation themes. Last year’s winning posters appear in the recycling calendar recently mailed to local residents by the city.
All submissions must be received at the city office by 5 p.m., April 4. The city office is located at 17555 Peak Ave. at Alkire Avenue, between West Main and West Dunne Avenues.
Entries should be 11” x 17” or smaller and can be made of any material, but should be suitable for scanning (reproducing). A one inch border must be left between the artwork and edge of the paper. Students should write their name, phone number, address, age, school name, teacher’s name and grade on the back of the entry.
