Each month, the principals of Live Oak and Sobrato High Schools choose a total of four students (two from each school) to spotlight. Sobrato senior Christopher Niemann, 18, is this week’s “Student of the Week.”
What inspires you? Inspiration to me comes from seeing other people succeed in what they like to do.
Favorite subject in school: My favorite subject in school is Drama. I’m able to apply my musical compositions to the stage.
If you could change one thing in the world: I would want to end gun violence.
If you could go anywhere: I would go to London, England.
Name one big challenge in your life right now: I have severe hearing loss in both ears.
Dream job: My dream job would be writing music for films.
If you were stranded on a deserted island, what three things could you not live without? I wouldn’t be able to live without food, or water, or someone to keep me company.
Favorite book: My favorite book is “Jurassic Park” by Micheal Crichton.
Plans post high school: I plan to attend West Valley, then transfer to a good music/film school.
Something that makes you smile: My girlfriend Emily makes me smile.
