As summertime temperatures are here to stay for a while, local residents and families can cool off at the Morgan Hill Aquatics Center during its recreational swim hours through the end of August.

The Aquatics Center’s recreational swimming runs through Sept. 1. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 1-4pm, and Saturday-Sunday, 1-5pm. From Aug. 14-Sept. 1, the hours change to weekends only from 1-5pm.

The center features numerous pools for lap swimming, lessons and groups; as well as a giant slide, wading pool with an elaborate fountain feature, cabanas and lifeguards on duty. Just outside the Aquatics Center is a miniature golf course that will also be open at select times throughout the summer.

The Morgan Hill Aquatics Center is located at 16200 Condit Road.

And in downtown Morgan Hill, the Downtown Splash pad at the Community & Cultural Center, 17000 Monterey Road, has reopened for the summer. The pad operates daily (excluding Fridays) from 11am to 3pm until Aug. 15.
