New Preschool Opening
Parents will have another choice in preschool and afterschool care for their kids as Kiddie Academy Child Care Learning Center opens this fall. The new facility, located at 15750 Monterey Road, will serve up to 124 children from infants 6 weeks old and children through age 12.
Director Megan Thumann said Kiddie Academy will have web cams, bio-metric fingerprint entry, six classrooms, a kitchen, an outdoor play area and 1,000-foot shaded area.
The copyrighted Kiddie Academy Curriculum focus on developmentally appropriate educational programs, Thumann said, and the center will offer a caring, nurturing and supportive environment.
Kiddie Academy hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30am-6:30pm.
A grand opening celebration will be held Sept. 23 from noon-4pm, but parents are welcome to visit the school prior to the opening.
