MHPB Awards
Morgan Hill – Closing day for the 2007 Morgan Hill Pony Baseball season brought stirring all-division city championships, and the league awards ceremony on Saturday.
The Morgan Hill Times would like to recognize and congratulate the most outstanding players and coaches for their performances during the 2007 season.
The Reggie Arias Memorial Award is determined by the PONY division managers and given to the player determined to be the most valuable in regular season play. What sets the winner apart from the other skilled players is sustained performance under diverse competitive conditions.
This years winner is Kolby Rousseu, from the Tigers.
The Christopher Henly Memorial Award is given to a Bronco division player, as selected by the managers during the regular season, that best emulates Christopher Henly’s quiet nature, dedication to teamwork, and fun-loving and never-quit baseball attitude. This year’s winner is Andrew Bueno from the A’s.
The Rudy Ortega Memorial Award honors the manager or coach in each division who best personifies role-model, character, sportsmanship, fair play, equal treatment of all players, baseball leadership, dedication and energetic volunteerism.

The John Wedge Award is given to one player from every team who played exceptionally throughout season.
