Galaxy vs Comets
The Galaxy used teamwork to beat the Comets on Saturday, April 29. Emily Ankiel, of the Galaxy, hit two ground-rule doubles in the game and made several spectacular fly-ball catches. Marina Rivera also hit a ground-rule double and made amazing catches while playing first base. Megan Noyes smacked the ball into center field for a double; she also pitched a tough two innings. Arianna Batad hit three singles and had three RBIs. Allysse Styczynski hit a single, had an RBI and played catcher for the game. Megan Medland hit two big singles and had two RBIs. Lorena Ukanwa was so fast she easily stole second and third after she hit a huge single, she also pitched wonderfully. Nicole Price got on base two times and played left field brilliantly. Laura Dewett fired up her team leading them in unending cheers while playing right field.
