The girls played in the Alexis Briski Memorial Tournament this past weekend in Los Gatos and reached the championship game in the silver bracket. They earned a No. 1 seed Saturday by finishing 1-1-1 Saturday, then beat the Almaden Lighting in the semifinals. Spirit lost to the Peninsula Pride in the title game.

Throughout the tournament, Spirit received great pitching by Nicole Reyes and Lindsay Baker, and strong defensive efforts by Madi Williams, Chloe Ikerd, Ashley Burke, Jordyn Campbell, Jaden Ta, Kelsey Gunsky, Kelli St. Clair and Janelle Hoskins. The local team also had great at-bats by Julianne Camacho and Bella Moralez.

The parents and the Coaching staff led by Corey Moralez , Martin Burke and Janelle McCauley are very proud of how far these girls have come.
