out of the season after beating San Jose 9-0.
On Monday, the Sobrato girls soccer team earned its 12th shut out of the season after beating San Jose 9-0.
The Bulldogs scored five goals in the first half and four in the second to imrpove their record to 13-3-1 and 10-1 in the Blossom Valley West Valley division.
Sobrato senior forward Katherine Alton continued her offensive tear this season by scoring four goals. Alton has scored 16 goals this season and has four multi-goal games.
Alton wasn’t the only Bulldog to score more than once in the game. Junior forward Ashley Grose and sophomore midfielder Laura Angulo each scored two goals.
Grose leads the West Valley division with 17 goals on the season.
Sophomore midfielder Cecily Nishmatusu added three assists in the victory over San Jose.
