Sobrato (5-14, 2-7) led 44-29 after the third quarter, when Silver Creek (5-13, 3-6) scored 19 points.
The Bulldogs moved to within a game of fifth place.
Boys soccer
The Sobrato Bulldogs beat visiting Overfelt 4-0 on Thursday for their second straight win in the Mount Hamilton Division.
Felipe Villamares scored twice, and Scott Henningsen and David Mandujano added goals for Sobrato, which has come on strong in the past two weeks after going winless in its first six league matches.
The Bulldogs (3-8-2, 2-5-1) challenged defending Central Coast Section Division II champion Willow Glen in a 2-1 loss on Jan. 19, then beat Leland 3-2 on Tuesday with two more goals by Villamares and another by Henningsen.
They avenged a 2-0 loss to the Royals (6-4-3, 3-2-2).
- Live Oak continued to slide in the Santa Teresa Division, losing 2-0 at Santa Teresa on Thursday.
The Acorns (3-4-4, 2-4-2) are winless in three straight.
Wrestling
Sobrato beat Mount Pleasant 45-18 on Tuesday to move to 2-2 in Santa Teresa Division dual meets.
The Bulldogs received pins from Steve Canela (113 pounds), Thomas Burback (145), Zach Zhang (152), Brandon Lefore (162) and Evan Enright (170).
Sobrato’s Jack Timoteo won 7-5 at 132 pounds.
