Just when you think you’ve seen it all, more of the bozzos in Washington, D.C., shame our great country once again by playing the lowest of “Petty Politics.”
Instead of taking timely action to solve American’s major problems … like failing to allocate sufficient resources for law enforcement agencies to deal with crime (including the uncontrolled, rampant escalation of Internet crime), several U.S. “Senators” have tried to invent a crisis of epoch proportion over whether or not the president should have taken a helicopter instead of a jet airplane to visit our troops on the Abraham Lincoln.
Mr. Lincoln himself would probably turn over in his grave if he could see what has been turned into a media circus by these alleged “public servants” in Washington involving the aircraft carrier bearing his name.
Of all the shameful, devious, irresponsible things to do by those charged with the responsibility and trust to fulfill their duties to the American public and their own constituents to resolve the deep-seated issues and problems of catastrophic importance in the lives of so many citizens.
This list includes the real unresolved crisis situations of health care, poverty and education.
The only bigger losers are those who fail to vote these miscreants out of office in the next election.
