ENGAGEMENTS: Kelly/Herraez: Stephanie Nicole Kelly and Ryan Michael Herraez are engaged to be married.
Stephanie, daughter of Michael and Yolanda Kelly of Santa Clara, graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School in 2009 and is a member of San Jose State University Class of 2013.
Ryan, son of Jose and Maria Herraez of Morgan Hill, graduated from Archbishop Mitty High School Class of 2008 and is a member of San Jose State University Class of 2013.
The couple are high school sweethearts and were engaged this summer in Paris. They are planning a wedding for October 2013.
Diaz/Gaitan
Yolanda Diaz and Gabriel Gaitan are engaged to be married.
Yolanda, daughter of Steve and Marianne Diaz of Hollister, graduated from San Benito High School in 2005 and CSU Stanislaus in 2009. She works for Aspira Public School System in Stanislaus County.
Gabriel, son of Mike and Eva Gaitan of Hollister, graduated from San Benito High School in 2005 and CSU Stanislaus in 2009. He works at Vanguard College Prep. Academy in Modesto as a junior high teacher.
A December 2012 wedding is planned in Hollister.

Maegan Collett, a graphic design major and Gilroy resident, made the academic Dean’s List at Azusa Pacific University with a 3.5 grade-point average or better. Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical, Christian university committed to God first and excellence in higher education located 26 miles northeast of Los Angeles.
Stephanie Wan
Stephanie Wan, of Morgan Hill, the Dean’s List for the spring 2012 semester at Tufts University. Dean’s List honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater. Tufts University, located on three Massachusetts campuses in Boston, Medford/Somerville and Grafton, and in Talloires, France, is recognized among the premier research universities in the United States.
Corey Martin
Corey Martin, a music major and San Martin resident, made the academic Dean’s List at Azusa Pacific University with a 3.5 grade-point average or better. Angel Andrade
Angel Andrade is Gavilan College’s Employee of the Month for June 2012. Angel is a custodian and has been with Gavilan College since 2003 becoming a permanent full-time employee in 2004. His current route consists of the theater complex, the human resources complex, security/facilities building and the police academy. Angel is always willing to fill in for any custodian that is absent to complete the routes and always establishes a good rapport with his customers and responds to their requests. Angel always has a smile and something nice to say to his customers.

Jasmyne Adriena Frutos was born July 5, 2012 at Saint Louise Regional Hospital to Pricilla Raquel Ramirez and Jordan Issea Frutos of Hollister. She weighed 5 pounds, 6 ounces.
