The Santa Clara Valley Chapter will integrate the latest in HP technology, including five HP notebook PCs, one HP Tablet PC, one HP Pocket PC, a wireless ready HP digital projector and wireless remote control, a wireless ready HP all-in-one printer/scanner/fax/copier, a wireless access point and an HP digital camera bundle. In addition, the Santa Clara Valley Chapter will receive a cash stipend and training from HP to set up a new wireless network.

The Santa Clara Valley Chapter plans incorporate the HP technology in two areas – preparedness and response. In the area of preparedness, the Santa Clara Valley Chapter conducts hundreds of training classes each year to help the Silicon Valley community public to prepare for, prevent and respond to disasters of all kinds. The HP wireless technology will be incorporated into the classroom environment, which will enable the Santa Clara Valley Chapter to bring a richer media experience to the attendees making for a more effective and engaging learning experience.
