Austin David scored 15 points on three tries to lead the South Valley Rugby team to a 2-1 record in its division to finish third in the Kick-Off Tournament last weekend in Rancho Cordova.
Cookie Alvarez totaled 12 points on six conversions, and Lau Fanua and Dingo Jones had 10 points on two tries each for the team, which beat Pleasanton 14-5 and Bellarmine 26-10 but lost to Berkeley, 17-12.
Reece Dominguez had five points for South Valley, which opens Bay Conference play against Silicon Valley at the Outdoor Sports Complex in Morgan Hill at 7 p.m. Friday.
