Roundup: Lyon scores 20, leads Acorns to victory

Fayth Lyon scored 20 points and Amy Gunther added nine points to lead Live Oak’s girls basketball team to a 51-20 home win over San Lorenzo Valley on Thursday night.

Jocelyn Mendoza had five points and six steals for Live Oak (6-2), and Courtney Thomson added five points.

“I’m very happy. We still have things to correct before we reach league,” Acorns coach Mike Kiefer said.
