Live Oak High’s boys tennis team swept doubles play in straight sets on its way to a 4-3 road win over rival Sobrato on Tuesday.
Sobrato’s Nos. 1 and 2 singles players won in straight sets.
Santa Teresa Division Tournament play begins April 9.
BOYS GOLF
Michael Jarvis shot even-par 35 to lead Live Oak High’s boys golf team to a 188-192 victory over Leigh on Tuesday at Santa Teresa Golf Course.
Austin Ryder and Matt Jarvis both carded 36 and Gordon Gunther shot 37 for Live Oak, which improved to 7-3 overall and 6-3 in the Blossom Valley Athletic League Mount Hamilton Division.
Leigh’s Jeremy Van den Berg earned medalist honors with a 34.
