The Sobrato girls basketball team’s losing streak was extended to 11 games Tuesday in a 50-37 loss to Silver Creek in Morgan Hill.

The loss sends the Bulldogs to a 2-16 overall mark. They are still winless in the Blossom Valley League Santa Teresa Division at 0-9.

They host Mt. Pleasant at 7 p.m. Thursday.

On the boys side, with back-to-back losses to Pioneer (47-42 on Friday) and Silver Creek (62-58 on Tuesday), the Bulldogs’ losing streak has reached seven games.

Sobrato is now 9-11 overall and 3-6 in league play. The Bulldogs travel to San Jose to face Lincoln on Thursday at 7 p.m.

Sobrato Soccer

The boys soccer team moved to 1-7-4 on Monday, falling short to Prospect, 1-0. The loss came one game after the Bulldogs earned their first victory of the season with a 1-0 win over Del Mar.

The Bulldogs return to the field at 3:30 p.m. Thursday against Andrew Hill.
