The Rotary Club of Morgan Hill recently celebrated four outstanding people in the community who are pursuing careers in the trades, awarding them this year’s Darren Dean Vocational Education Grants.

These $2,000 grants can be used for education, training, tools and supplies—all designed to help ease the financial burden for those entering or advancing in skilled labor fields, says a press release from the Rotary Club of Morgan Hill.

This year’s recipients are:

• Maximinio Mateo (Landscaping)

• Daniella Moreno (Nursing)

• Iryna Barchuck (Cosmetology)

• Cody Hannah (Automotive)

This program was established in memory of Darren Dean, a beloved Morgan Hill resident and Rotarian whose kindness, generosity and passion for service inspired many to follow their dreams.
