During the past several years, I have actively tried to keep notes, brochures, and newspaper clippings of those who are in the services. I have two years of Patriot’s Day brochures and at times, people email me their information. There are many who need to be remembered who are not on this list. If you know of any person who is serving, that you feel would like to be on this list, please email me at

If you would prefer to contact me by phone, I’m at 779-6916 and the Morgan Hill Times can be reached at 779-4106. The name of the service person, branch of service and rank and where they are presently stationed is all welcome information. A contact name and phone for the person passing on the name is also a great help, so periodic updates can be supplied.
Parents of married military members, please feel free to send your child’s name along, even if they are no longer living with you. If you work in Morgan Hill, and live in another community, please feel free to pass the name along. Building support for our military members and their loved ones is one of the purposes of this collection.
There is also an ongoing effort to reach out to any person who has ever served in our military so that appreciation can be given. Many times during the year, Armed Forces Day May 15, Memorial Day, Patriot’s Day, etc. community members and organizations look to find those who have served.
We in Morgan Hill do not have an active collection of these names so I’ll step forward and start this one moving also. I would love to have some help with this also. Same information as above, and please include dates or any other pertinent information.
