Happy New Year from the Morgan Hill Library staff! Here are 15 New Year’s resolutions for readers:

• I will reread a book I loved as a child.

• I will finally read that classic book that I’ve been avoiding since high school.

• I will find a book of poetry and read some aloud.

• I will spend an hour in aimless browsing at the library.

• I will read a book written in the year I was born.

• I will create a reading log to keep notes on the books I read.

• I will read a book to a child.

• I will gather a few friends and read a play out loud.

• I will read a book written from a political point of view totally opposite my own.

• I will read a book about a place I’ve never been.

• I will reread a book that I just didn’t “get” when I was younger.

• I will ask my favorite librarian to show me some print and online resources for readers.

• I will read a book written by a non-American.

• I will spend some time discussing books with friends.

• I will read a book on a subject I know nothing about.
