Dear Editor,
I would like to give my personal opinion about what I read about Quail Canyon Inn.
To all of the locals Riders and Ranchers that have frequented the Quail Canyon Inn. I have one question for you, what was that officer talking about? Code 3’s, fights, shady characters? Ground Control to Major Tom! Within all the years that I have frequented the Quail as a motorcycle rider and even before I asked my wife about owning a motorcycle I have never seen a fight or anything that resembled an argument on the property, Every establishment at one time or another can attract shady characters but the Quail never has had a problem of 86ing them off the property. My wife who also rides a motorcycle has told me quite a few times that she feels safe at the Quail. The only time my wife has ever been nervous about the Quail was when she was a new rider and she knew that she had to tackle the Quail’s driveway! And she did a great job. I would also like to mention the people that we have met and all the friends that we have made at the Quail, they are all great people. Sunday! Sunday! Sunday!  At the Quail you can get a bowl of the best beans you have ever tasted with warm tortillas and butter, and you can enjoy them out on the porch with that beautiful view. People come in from miles around to enjoy their 2pm feed. Speaking of food, the Friday Night potluck and the Herbo’s tacos must have honorable mention as well. Man, I am writing as if the Quail is still standing, we must rebuild or it will become honey-do Sunday! We must rebuild the Quail or we are doomed.
