A challenge to former pro wrestler and current Live Oak assistant wrestling coach Manny “The Raging Bull” Fernandez by 400-pound pro wrestler Big Zito has resulted in a return engagement for pro wrestling to Live Oak High on Dec. 27.

The bad blood between the two wrestlers began at the previous event, held in November, when Zito and his group of young wrestlers known as the Applebomb Kids began yelling at Fernandez about an unspecified disagree-ment.

The second fundraiser for the Acorn wrestling program will feature Fernandez, Zito and several other current and former pro wrestlers, including Frank Murdoch, Apollo Kahn and Bart Blaxon, among others, competing on the Live Oak mats next week.

The first fundraiser earned about $1,200 for the wrestling program and organizers are hoping to increase that amount considerably this time around.

The event will be held beginning at 8 p.m., with the doors opening at 7 p.m., in the Live Oak main gymnasium.

Tickets are $8 if purchased before the show and $10 at the door.

Tickets may be purchased at BookSmart or by visiting the Live Oak wrestling Web site.

Details: 782-5931.
