Vandalism: APM Custom Engines reported someone used an air gun to shoot out lights and windows at the business overnight. Nothing was stolen from the business. The report was taken at 9:24 a.m. on Jan. 13.

• The Water Outlet reported the vending machine outside the business was vandalized, but the suspect(s) were unable to get into the coin area. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 10:33 a.m.

• The owner of a Silverado truck reported the truck was “keyed” on the left fender and door while parked at the Johnson Lumber/Ace Hardware. The report was taken at 1:48 p.m. on Jan. 14.

Stolen vehicle: Morgan Hill Autobody reported a vehicle was loaned to someone who passed away; when an attempt was made to recover the vehicle, a GMC Jimmy, the vehicle had been taken by someone else. The report was taken on Jan. 14 at 1:57 p.m.

Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of Jasmine Way reported someone stole the left rear tire from the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 2 at 6:16 a.m.

• The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle on La Mar Drive. The report was taken at 7:43 p.m. on Jan. 12.

• A resident of the 16700 block of San Luis Way reported her rear license plate was stolen from her vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 13 at 8:05 p.m.

• A resident of the Wright Avenue Apartments reported someone stole the rear license plate from his Toyota Camry. The report was taken at 3:28 p.m. on Jan. 14.

Embezzlement: A female suspect reportedly stole $2,200 in merchandise from Target. The report was taken on Jan. 5 at 1:50 p.m.

Grand theft: A Tool Shed Equipment Rentals reported a Morgan Hill resident rented a pressure washer and paint sprayer on Oct. 24 to return on Oct. 25 and has not return them. The company has repeatedly tried to contact the suspect and has sent registered letters to the suspect. The estimated value of the items is $2,646. The report was taken on Dec. 29 at 2:01 p.m.

• Majestic Beauty Supply and Salon reported three suspects stole baskets of merchandise valued at approximately $2,000. The report was taken at 11:37 a.m. on Dec. 31.

• Community Lending reported that over the weekend, someone stole several laptop computers, docking stations and damaged a computer monitor. The report was taken on Jan. 12 at 8:36 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported that her Palm Pilot was stolen from her when she put it down on the counter in Starbucks. The report was taken at 11:04 a.m. on Jan. 15.

Petty Theft: Cochrane Chevron reported a male suspect stole beer from the store. The report was taken at 7:55 p.m. on Jan. 15.

• A wallet was stolen from the purse of an employee at P.A. Walsh School while she was working. The wallet contained credit cards,

identification, $30 in cash and personal checks. The credit cards have been used and some of the checks cashed. The report was taken on Jan. 16 at 5:50 p.m.

• Johnson Lumber/Ace Hardware reported a male suspect took something from the store. The report was taken at 6:18 p.m. on Jan. 18.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was stolen while she was at the library. The report was taken on Jan. 20 at 5:04 p.m.

• A resident of the 16300 block of Juan Hernandez Drive reported someone stole the resident’s Haro Revo bike, valued at $400. The report was taken at 6:24 p.m. on Jan. 20.

• A resident of the 2000 block of Old Oak Lane reported checks and mail were stolen from the mailbox. The report was taken at 5:07 p.m. on Jan. 23.

• The AM/PM Mini Mart reported a suspect stole two 12-packs of beer. The report was taken on Jan. 24 at 1:02 a.m.

Auto Burglary: A Toyota Camry parked in the Mervyn’s parking lot was broken into. The rear window was broken, but it was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 15 at 11:12 p.m.

• A guest of the Residence Inn reported an unlocked BMW was entered and items were stolen from the vehicle, including a handicapped placard and registration and insurance information. The report was taken at 8:28 a.m. on Jan. 20.

• A guest of the Courtyard Marriott reported a vehicle was broken into and a laptop computer was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 20 at 8:33 a.m.

• A resident of the 2000 block of Vista Del Valle reported someone broke into his locked Toyota pickup overnight. the stereo with CD player was stolen. The report was taken at 9:03 a.m. on Jan. 24.

• A resident of the 17100 block of Aspen Way reported that his KIA Sportage was broken into overnight and his stereo was stolen. The report was taken on Jan. 24 at 10:10 a.m.

• A resident of the 16700 block of Cerro Vista Drive reported someone stole the stereo from her unlocked Chevy truck. The report was taken at 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 24.

• A resident of the 1000 block of Acacia Way reported her cell phone was stolen from her unlocked vehicle. The report was taken on Jan. 26 at 1:05 p.m.

Threats: A Morgan Hill resident reported her ex-husband is threatening her and her children. She told police he is threatening to beat, rape and kill her in front of the children. The report was taken on Jan. 20 at 2:48 p.m.

• Britton Middle School reported a group of students were threatening the visiting team’s cheerleaders. The report was taken at 5:45 p.m. on Jan. 20.
