Vandalism:

• The handball courts at Galvan Park were covered by graffiti. The report was taken on Nov. 22 at 3:41pm.

• A resident of the 17600 block of Holiday Drive reported someone damaged her mailbox, possibly with a vehicle. The report was taken at 1:11pm on Nov. 24.

• A resident of the 17800 block of Hale Avenue reported someone wrote on her vehicle with a permanent marker. The report was taken on Nov. 25 at 10:32am.

• South Valley Christian School on Wright Avenue reported someone threw a rock through a window overnight. The report was taken at 9:38am on Nov. 26.

• A resident of Encino Drive reported the back of a motorhome parked at the residence was egged overnight. The report was taken on Nov. 28 at 9:34am.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her Mitsubishi Galant was “keyed” while it was parked at the Safeway on East Dunne Avenue. The report was taken on Dec. 5 at 6:04pm.

• A resident of Bender Circle reported the registration, vehicle manual and insurance information was stolen from the resident’s Jeep Cherokee overnight. The report was taken on Nov. 22 at 10:04am.

• A resident of the 16900 block of Del Monte reported his checkbook was stolen from his vehicle. One of the vehicle’s windows was shattered. The report was taken at 12:27pm on Nov. 25.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse containing her checkbook, credit cards, etc., was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at Mervyns in Cochrane Plaza Shopping Center on Nov. 26. The report was taken on Nov. 30 at 3:14pm.

• A resident of the Del Monte Village Townhomes reported someone broke into her Mitsubishi Lance while it was in the parking lot. The report was taken at 6:23pm on Dec. 9.

Petty theft:

• Kragen Auto Parts on Monterey Road reported a bumper was stolen from a company truck. The report was taken on Nov. 27 at 1:02pm.

• A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported the bumper was stolen from his Ford pickup overnight. The report was taken at 4:30pm on Nov. 28.

• EMJ Manufacturing on Technology Drive reported scrap metal bins and scrap metal were removed from the back area of the business. Theft of scrap metal has been occurring every weekend for the past three months. The report was taken on Nov. 29 at 7:22am.

• A Folsom resident reported a Eureka upright vacuum cleaner “went missing” when the resident moved from a Hale Avenue apartment in Morgan Hill to Folsom. The resident told police that other people had access to the keys to the apartment. The report was taken at 9pm on Nov. 29.7

• A resident of Alamo Drive said a package was left on her front porch by UPS on Nov. 4, and when she returned home it was missing. She told police she confirmed with UPS the package was left on the porch. The report was taken on Dec. 1 at 3:18pm.

• A resident of the 17700 block of Park Way reported her wallet was stolen sometime between Nov. 17 and Nov. 18. She told police checks from her checkbook were cashed at Albertson’s, Safeway and Mervyns. The report was taken at 8:39pm on Dec. 1.

• Best Western Country Inn on Condit Road reported a television was stolen from one of the rooms. The report was taken on Dec. 7 at 9:48am.

Fraud:

• A resident of the 14700 block of Excaliber Drive reported her ex-boyfriend has been accessing her bank account, transferring money. The report was taken on Dec. 9 at 11:38am.

Brandishing:

• A resident of the 17600 block of Bentley Drive reported the resident’s 19-year-old son, who has a history of mental illness, had a pistol. There were several juveniles in the home. It was determined the pistol was not loaded. Police officers recovered the pistol. The report was taken on Nov. 15 at 1:01pm.

Burglary:

• Segal Industries on Caputo Drive reported a break-in. The report was taken on Nov. 14 at 9:24am.

• Las Palmas Restaurant in Vineyard Town Center was broken into overnight. The back door was pried open, possibly with a crowbar, and money was stolen from the restaurant. The report was taken at 8:41am on Nov. 15.

• Sobrato High School on Burnett Avenue reported copper pipe and fittings and electrical materials were stolen from the construction site. The suspect(s) apparently cut through the construction fencing to steal the materials. The report was taken on Nov. 15 at 11:48am.

n Goodwill of Santa Clara County on Monterey Road reported someone broke into the yard through barbed wire fence overnight and stole four or five laptops that were left outside and some clothing. The report was taken at 10:18am on Oct. 17.

n Ascot Special Events on Joleen Way reported someone broke into the business overnight. It was unclear at the time of the report what was stolen. The report was taken on Nov. 26 at 7:09am.

• Goodwill of Santa Clara County on Monterey Road reported someone broke into the property overnight by cutting a hole in the fence. It was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The report was taken at 2:55pm on Nov. 27.

• A resident of Diana Avenue reported her son’s room was broken into. Someone apparently entered the bedroom through an open window, stole an XBox game machine and exited through the front door of the residence. The report was taken on Nov. 27 at 9:53pm.

• The Flying Dragon Chinese Restaurant on Monterey Road reported someone broke into the business through the side window in the kitchen and stole approximately $100 from the register. The report was taken on Nov. 29 at 12:01pm.

• A resident of Rosemary Circle reported someone broke into the residence while he was at school. Doors were unlocked, the back door was opened when he returned, and things are in disarray. He told police he doesn’t believe anything was stolen from the residence. The report was taken at 3:17pm on Nov. 29.

• Northside Market on Monterey Road reported someone broke into the market through the front door and stole lottery tickets and phone cards. The report was taken on Nov. 30 at 4:36am.

• APM Custom Engines on Joleen Way reported someone broke into the side yard of the business overnight and stole a power washer valued at $300. The report was taken at 10:33am on Nov. 30.

• A resident of Holiday Court reported he arrived home to find a safe and other items were stolen from the residence. One of the sliding doors was found open. The report was taken on Dec. 1 at 3:04pm.

• Western Technology Marketing on Digital Drive reported someone entered the business through a broken window overnight and stole three computer systems. The report was taken at 8:20am on Dec. 7.

• A resident of Oakridge Court reported someone broke into the residence during the day and stole cash and a digital camera. The report was taken on Dec. 7 at 4:35pm.

Tampering with a motor vehicle:

• Community Solutions on Church Street reported one of the agency’s vans has a broken driver’s side window and the ignition has been messed with. The report was taken on Oct. 27 at 4:58pm.

• A resident of Madrone Mobile Estates reported someone stole a side light from her vehicle while it was parked on the street. The report was taken on Nov. 10 at 12:36pm.
