Auto burglary:
n A Morgan Hill resident reported someone shattered a window of her locked Chrysler Cirrus and stole her purse from the vehicle. The report was taken on March 9 at 2:35pm
Petty theft:
n A purse was snatched from Creative Nails 2 in the Vineyard Town Center. The report was taken on March 7 at 5:53pm.
n The Goodwill Store on Monterey Road reported someone stole a power saw from the store. The report was taken at 7:21pm on March 8.
n Mervyn’s in the Cochrane Plaza shopping center reported a male suspect ran out of the store carrying approximately $300 worth of jeans. A description of the suspect was given to police. The report was taken on March 8 at 8:46pm.
Fraud:
n A Morgan Hill resident reported someone took $20,000 from his bank account. The report was taken on March 9 at 2:31pm.
Identity theft:
n A resident of Hillwood Lane reported someone charged more than $1,000 on his credit card. The report was taken on March 7 at 11:02am.
Burglary:
n Someone broke into a construction storage trailer on a construction site at Peet Road and stole electrical wiring overnight. The reportwas taken on March 15 at 8:57am.
n Mushrooms Grille and Bar on West Main Avenue reported a locked storage facility outside the restaurant was broken into overnight, and hamburger, steaks, chicken and ham were stolen. The report was taken at10:24am on March 16.
Child abuse:
n An aide to a cerebral palsy student reported aides noticed an icon on the student’s computer labeled “oral sex;” the aides did not report the incident, and now the icon is gone. The student told the aide that one of her aides last year was “weird” and made her touch her chest. The report was taken on March 7 at 5:25pm.
Threats:
n A resident of Crest Avenue said a neighbor she doesn’t know frequently makes suggestive remarks to her. This time, she told police, he was waiting by her car and grabbed her hair. She said he also tried to push himself inside her apartment until she said she would tell his wife. The report was taken on March 7 at 7:08pm.

Embezzlement:
n Mama Mia’s Ristorante Italiano on East Dunne Avenue reported an ex-employee could possibly be stealing money from the cash register at the end of each day. The report was taken on Feb. 21 at 3:43pm.
n Custom Chrome, Inc., on Jacqueline Court reported an employee has been embezzling money from the business. The report was taken on Feb. 14 at 9:24am.

Theft:
n Joseph Leonard Alosi, 42, of 2040 San Pedro Ave., Morgan Hill, at 4:09pm Friday, March 18, at Safeway, 905 First St., for theft with priors, a felony, violating parole, and possession of a substance with the intent to manufacture metha-mphetamine.

Drugs:
n Paul Jason Garrison, 34, of San Jose, was arrested and booked in the main jail by sheriff’s deputies at 11:50 pm March 7, at Uvas Road in Morgan Hill for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Vandalism:
n A vandal sprayed graffiti inside a residence on Paradise Court in Morgan Hill, a damage of about $170, and stole various items, including a 9-inch squirrel statue and potted plants, worth a total of about $190, as reported at 5pm March 5.
