Fraud: A resident of Bugatti Place reported he was contacted by someone on his cell phone who was using his credit information and had opened up a few accounts and was blackmailing him. The report was taken on Feb. 3 at 4:21 p.m.

Battery: A resident of Ravenswood Court reported his 19-year-old son just came home and said that his stepfather had hit him in the head. The report was taken at 7:29 p.m. on Feb. 8.

Grand theft: Another job box, containing tools, copper fittings and other materials, valued at approximately $3,000-$4,000 was stolen from the Home Depot construction site. The report was taken on Feb. 2 at 8:54 a.m.

• A Tool Shed Equipment Rentals reported a Morgan Hill resident rented a pressure washer and paint sprayer on Oct. 24 to return on Oct. 25 and has not return them. The company has repeatedly tried to contact the suspect and has sent registered letters to the suspect. The estimated value of the items is $2,646. The report was taken on Dec. 29 at 2:01 p.m.

• Majestic Beauty Supply and Salon reported three suspects stole baskets of merchandise valued at approximately $2,000. The report was taken at 11:37 a.m. on Dec. 31.

• Community Lending reported that over the weekend, someone stole several laptop computers, docking stations and damaged a computer monitor. The report was taken on Jan. 12 at 8:36 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported that her Palm Pilot was stolen from her when she put it down on the counter in Starbucks. The report was taken at 11:04 a.m. on Jan. 15.

• A resident of the 16200 block of Church Street reported all four wheels and tires were stolen from the resident’s Dodge Ram truck overnight. The report was taken at 6:51 a.m. on Jan. 27.

• Construction materials were stolen from the site of the future Home Depot, including 400 ft of welding leads valued at $1,200. The report was taken on Jan. 29 at 4:26 p.m.

• More construction materials were stolen from the Home Depot site over the weekend. The chain on the gang box was cut and the entire electrical supplies box was stolen, and plumbing supplies were stolen. The loss is estimated to be thousands of dollars worth of supplies. The report was taken at 7:39 a.m. on Feb. 2.

Auto burglary: A resident of The Meadows reported his Chevy pickup was broken into. The stereo was taken, along with personal papers. The report was taken at 12:08 p.m. on Feb. 8.

Threats: An employee of Northcoast Medical reported a male suspect is calling her at work, threatening to kill her sister. She called police later to say the male suspect called back, saying he could not get to her sister, he was coming after her. The report was taken at 11:35 a.m. on Feb. 5.

• A resident of the 17400 block of Calle Mazatan reported she has been receiving malicious phone calls for two weeks, starting at 2 or 3 a.m. The report was taken on Feb. 8 at 10:05 a.m.

Burglary: The California Apartment Association reported files missing from the office. The report was taken at 5:09 p.m. on Feb. 9.

• A resident of Cimarron Drive reported his checkbook was possibly stolen from the house by a man saying he was an exterminator requested by the realtor to do an inspection. The report was taken on Feb. 9 at 7:09 p.m.

Vandalism: A resident of the 300 block of Calle Asta reported someone “keyed” the right rear quarter panel of the resident’s Mercury. The report was taken on Feb. 4 at 10:15 a.m.

• A vacant house in the 16700 block of San Luis Way was vandalized. The garage door was broken, doors into the house were damaged and screens were broken. The report was taken at 4:18 p.m. on Feb. 4.

• Britton Middle School reported three students knocked over a street sign. The report was taken on Feb. 5 at 9:43 a.m.

• A resident of the 1900 block of Criollo Way reported someone threw eggs at the resident’s Mercedes and flattened one tire of the vehicle. The report was taken at 8:29 a.m. on Feb. 8.

• A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported the resident’s Camaro was scratched and a window was broken. The report was taken on Feb. 8 at 6:24 p.m.

• A resident of Barnell Avenue reported two of his truck tires were slashed. The report was taken at 10:05 p.m. on Feb. 8.

• Intercon Technology, Inc., reported someone through a rock through a window of the business over the weekend. The report was taken on Feb. 9 at 9:16 a.m.

Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of La Crosse Village Apartments reported his vehicle’s rear license plate was stolen overnight. The report was taken at Feb. 10 at 9:11 a.m.

Petty theft: Safeway reported a female suspect stole ribs and chicken from the warmer near the front of the store. The report was taken on Jan. 29 at 11:29 a.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was stolen from her grocery cart while she was shopping at Nob Hill Foods. The report was taken at 12:44 p.m. on Jan. 29.

• A resident of the 15200 block of La Alameda reported someone tried to steal gas from his neighbor’s car, spilling gas into the neighbor’s driveway. The report was taken on Jan. 29 at 10:12 p.m.

• A resident of the 16600 block of San Benito Place reported someone stole her garbage can overnight. The report was taken at 5:19 a.m. on Feb. 2.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was stolen from the grocery cart while she was shopping at Nob Hill Foods. The report was taken on Feb. 2 at 3:17 p.m.

• A member of the 24 Hour Fitness club reported his locker was broken into and his keys were stolen. The report was taken at 7:45 p.m. on Feb. 2.

• Live Oak High School reported that $100 in cash and a digital camera were stolen from a room in the school The report was taken on Feb. 3 at 2:17 p.m.

• Safeway reported an older woman was shoplifting. The report was taken at 7:23 p.m. on Feb. 3.

• A resident of the 2000 block of Darnis Circle reported his “For Sale by Owner” signs keep getting stolen. The report was taken on Feb. 5 at 9:30 a.m.
