n Auto burglary: A resident of Creekside Village Townhomes reported their vehicle was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and a car seat, jacket, Palm Pilot and CDs were stolen. The report was taken at 9:22am.
n Suspicious circumstances: A Morgan Hill resident reported her 13-year-old daughter was harassed by a 40-year-old male after school the day before while she was in the area of Main Avenue and Hale Avenue. She told police she doesn’t know the suspect, and her daughter cannot describe what he was wearing. The report was taken at 9:25am.
n Suspicious circumstances: El Toro Elementary reported a student told a teacher he had a gun; the student was taken to the principal’s office, and it was discovered he had a toy gun. The report was taken at 9:57am.
n Burglary: The New Hair Studio on Monterey Road reported the rear door to the business was “kicked open,” but it was not known at the time of the report if anything was stolen from the business. The report was taken at 12:40pm.
n Arson: A wooden bench in the park behind Morgan Hill City Hall was set on fire. The report was taken at 9:07pm.
n Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported their Honda Civic was broken into while it was parked at the Big 5 Sporting Goods in Cochrane Plaza shopping center. The stereo and speakers were stolen. The report was taken at 10:11pm.
November 11
n Arrests: Erika Bond, 33, and Marie Morris, 42, were arrested on charges of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 3:02am.
n Embezzlement: Animal Damage Management on East Dunne Avenue reported an employee was just terminated for stealing from the business. He was accused of taking cash from clients and not providing receipts. The report was taken at 2:40pm.
November 12
n Auto burglary: A resident of the Acacia Mobile Home Park reported someone broke into their Ford F150 overnight. A window was shattered, and the registration, insurance and CDs were stolen. The report was taken at 10:04am.
n Threats: An employee of the Goodwill of Santa Clara County on Monterey Road reported she received harassing phone calls at work. The report was taken at 12:46pm.
November 13
n Arrest: Isac R. Gomez, 45, was arrested charged with being drunk in public. The report was taken at 1:16am.
n Arrest: Alex A. Cabrera, 25, was arrested and charged with domestic battery. The report was taken at 2:13am.
n Domestic violence: Saint Louise Medical Center reported a Morgan Hill resident was treated at the hospital after she was apparently beaten. She had bruises “all over her body.” The report was taken at 9:18am.
n Auto burglary: A resident of Serene Drive reported someone broke into their unlocked Suburban and stole the DVD player. The report was taken at 9:34am.
n Stolen vehicle: A Live Oak High student reported she left her vehicle in the parking lot on Nov. 11 because she locked her keys in the car. When she went back to get it, it was gone, and there was glass on the ground near where it had been parked. The report was taken at 5:01pm.
