• A resident of Copper Hill Drive reported a fence on the property was damaged, and a portion of the fence was stolen. The report was taken at 10:44am on Feb. 15.
• A resident of the 17800 block of Holiday Drive reported her house was “paintballed” overnight. The report was taken on Feb. 19 at 9:24am.
• A resident of La Crosse Village Apartments reported the resident’s Honda Accord was “egged” overnight. The resident told police the incident was possibly related to a disagreement the teenager of the house had with some girls at the movies the night before. The report was taken at 12:17pm on Feb. 19.
Auto burglary:
• A resident of Tassajara Circle reported her purse and her daughter’s cell phone was stolen from her unlocked Ford Expedition. The purse contained credit cards, checks and $30. The report was taken on Feb. 14 at 8:11pm.
• A resident of the 18500 block of Butterfield Boulevard reported someone stole stereo speakers and tools from the resident’s unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the apartment complex. The report was taken at 1:54pm on Feb. 15.
• An employee of Paramit Corporation on Madrone Parkway reported the employee’s locked Toyota Camry was broken into while parked at the business. A window was shattered, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken on Feb. 16 at 11:43am.
• Another employee vehicle at Paramit Corporation was also broke into. The report was taken at 12:22pm on Feb. 16.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked on Pajaro Circle. The report was taken on Feb. 16 at 4:21pm.
• A guest of the Microtel Inn and Suites on Condit Road reported the guest’s locked Saturn was broken into overnight. The report was taken at 6:59am on Feb. 17.
• An employee of Northcoast Medical on Sutter Boulevard reported someone broke into the employee’s locked Honda CRX. A window was shattered, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken on Feb. 17 at 10:35am.
• A resident of La Mar Court reported the resident’s locked vehicle was broken into during the afternoon. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 8:06pm on Feb. 17.
• A resident of La Sierra Court reported her locked Toyota Highlander was broken into overnight. A window was shattered, and a purse and cell phone were stolen from the vehicle. The report taken on Feb. 18 at 5:15am.
•A Morgan Hill resident reported her locked Chevy Suburban was broken into while it was parked outside the 24 Hour Fitness Club in Tennant Station. The window was shattered, and a purse was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 6:10am on Feb. 18.
• An unlocked Nissan King Cab truck was broken into while parked at the Rite Aid on Monterey Road. The stereo was stolen from the truck. The report was taken on Feb. 18 at 9:25am.
• A locked Toyota Tercel parked at the Pacific Hills Manor on Noble Court was broken into. A window was shattered, and a stereo and speakers were stolen. The report was taken at 10:03am on Feb. 18.
• A locked Ford Explorer was broken into during the evening while it was parked at the Shag Salon on Monterey Road. A window was shattered, and a purse was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken on Feb. 18 at 8pm.
• A resident of La Bella Court reported her locked vehicle was broken into overnight. A window wash shattered, and her purse was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 9:35am on Feb. 19.
• A resident of the Crest Avenue Apartments reported someone broke into his locked Mazda Protege overnight. A window was shattered, and speakers were stolen. The report was taken on Feb. 19 at 11:01am.
Stolen vehicle:
•A resident of the Del Monte Village Townhomes reported the resident’s Astrovan was stolen overnight. The report was taken on Feb. 15 at 6:26am.
• A resident of the 2100 block of Cimarron Drive reported his brother-in-law’s Toyota Camry was parked out in front of the residence and was stolen. The report was taken at 9:12am on Feb. 19.
Petty theft:
• A resident of West Fourth Street reported his bike was stolen from his backyard. The report was taken on Feb. 15 at 5:09pm.
• A resident of the 800 block of Via Del Castille reported a bicycle, a bag of decoys and two fishing poles were stolen from the back of the resident’s truck overnight. The truck was parked on the street in front of the house. The report was taken at 8:23am on Feb. 16.
• A business owner on East Second Street reported a neighboring business, Bargain Hunters, told her that a suspect took the business owner’s mail the day before, and the suspect also went through other business mailboxes. The business owner said her Social Security check was stolen. A description of the suspect was provided to police. The report was taken on Feb. 19 at 4:43pm.
Identity theft:
• A resident of the 17200 block of Oak Leaf Drive reported someone in Denver has opened an account in the resident’s name with AT&T Wireless. The report was taken at 10:44am on Feb. 7.
• A San Jose resident reported someone used her name and Social Security number to purchase $5,000 in computer equipment from Dell. The equipment was to be shipped to an address in Morgan Hill. The report was taken on Feb. 11 at 10:38am.
• A resident of the 17200 block of Holiday Drive reported someone opened a PayPal account under her checking account. The report was taken on Feb. 15 at 1:35pm.
• A resident of the 700 block of St. Timothy Place reported when he obtained a copy of his credit report, he discovered someone had used his name to open accounts in Pennsylvania, including a $1,000 Verizon account and a $7,000 Circuit City account. The report was taken at 11:36am on Feb. 16.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone opened an account in his name and charged $20,000 to the account. The report was taken on Feb. 17 at 2:45pm.
