• A Morgan Hill resident reported she was assaulted by her
boyfriend the day before. She said he grabbed and twisted her arm
and slapped her in the face. She told police she tried to call the
police station but the boyfriend would not let her. The report was

•A resident of La Crosse Drive reported her ex-boyfriend twisted her arm and pushed her down on the couch one week earlier. She is pregnant and told police the ex-boyfriend no longer lives with her but she is afraid of him. He has told her he doesn’t want the baby, which scares her. She later called the police back and said he was angry with her for calling the police. The report was taken on Aug. 16 at 2:39pm.
Vandalism
• A resident of the Terracina Apartments reported someone tried to break into her locked apartment overnight. A window screen was broken, but the suspect(s) did not gain entry. She told police this was the third time this has happened. The report was taken on Aug. 9 at 12:03pm.
• A resident of Creekside Village Townhomes reported her vehicle was “egged” and a door of the vehicle damaged overnight. The resident told police she believes the suspect is her ex-boyfriend, who she has a restraining order against. The report was taken at 8:37am on Aug. 10.
• A residence of Nob Hill Terrace reported someone slashed the tires of the resident’s Mustang overnight. The report was taken on Aug. 14 at 2:42pm.
• A resident of Sanchez Drive reported the resident’s Honda CRX was vandalized overnight. The report was taken at 7:15pm on Aug. 16.
Auto Burglary
• A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported someone broke into his locked Mitsubishi Gallant overnight. The stereo was damaged, but the suspect(s) could not remove it from the vehicle. The report was taken on Aug. 7 at 9:43am.
• A resident of the 17600 block of Peak Avenue reported her purse was stolen from her unlocked vehicle overnight. The report was taken at 8:01am on Aug. 9.
• A guest of the Executive Inn Suites on Condit Road reported someone entered his Chevy Impala, which may have been unlocked, and stole proof of insurance, the vehicle registration, the operating manual and change. The report was taken on Aug. 10 at 10:54am.
• A resident of the 17100 block of Peppertree Drive reported a laptop computer was stolen from the resident’s unlocked Nissan overnight. The report was taken at 11:22am on Aug. 10.
•A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen from her unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the Vineyard Town Center parking lot. The report was taken on Aug. 11 at 7:19am.
• A resident of the 17800 Crest Avenue reported someone broke into his Toyota Corolla overnight, and several items were stolen. The report was taken at 7:10pm on Aug. 13.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone broke into her unlocked vehicle while it was parked at the Aquatic Center and stole the remote control to her residence, driving directions to her residence and library books. The report was taken on Aug. 17 at 9:18pm.
• A resident of Mathilda Court reported the resident’s locked Mercury Grand Marquis was broken into overnight. The back window was shattered, the stereo was stolen, along with change and other items. The report was taken on Aug. 23 at 8:34am.
• A residnet of Las Casas de San Pedro reported someone stole tools from the back of his truck overnight. The report was taken at 3:18pm on Aug. 23.
• Royal Riders on Mast Street reported someone broke into a Ford Astro van and stole the stereo. The report was taken on Aug. 24 at 8:28am.
• A resident of Springhill Drive reported the resident’s unlocked car was broken into overnight and a coin purse was stolen. The report was taken at 7:56am on Aug. 25.
Tampering with
a vehicle
•A resident of the Creekside Village Townhomes report the rear license plate from his vehicle was stolen overnight. The report was taken on Aug. 8 at 5:07pm.
• A guest at the Executive Inn Suites on Condit Road reported his rear license plate was stolen from his Toyota Camry overnight. The report was taken at 11:45am on Aug. 9.
• A guest of the Executive Inn Suites reported the registration was taken from the license plate of his Hyundai, and the plate was damaged. The report was taken on Aug. 10 at 3:53pm.
• Countryside Day Care on West Main Avenue reported someone stole the license plate from one of the company vans. The report was taken on Aug. 19 at 8:47am.
Stolen vehicle
• A resident of the 16500 block of Del Monte Avenue reported a GMC pickup with a camper shell was stolen sometime during the day. The report was taken on Aug. 23 at 7:02pm.
Child abuse
• The San Jose Police Department reported to MHPD that a child living with a foster parent in San Jose told the foster mother that she was sexually abused by her brother at an unknown address in Morgan Hill. The report was taken on Aug. 24 at 9:57pm.
Burglary
• A resident of the 16800 block of Barnell Avenue reported he is a contractor and someone stole his tools, door knobs, fixtures and other items. Entry was apparently through a window. The report was taken on Aug. 21 at 4:40pm.
•A resident of the 16800 block of Sorrel Way reported two drills and other items were stolen from the garage. The garage door was broken into. The report was taken at 6:08pm on Aug. 23.
Threats
• An employee of Ailert Insurance on Monterey Road reported she is receiving threatening phone calls. The report was taken on Aug. 23 at 11:23am.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported when she came out of the Chicago Title office on Sutter Boulevard she found a note on her vehicle that said, “What makes you think you are better than everyone else. Your car will fit in 1 slot. Maybe one day your car won’t be so pretty.”
