Auto burglary: A resident of Bayo Claros Circle reported someone broke into her car through a window that was halfway opened. The report was taken at 4:43 a.m. on Nov. 12.
Vandalism: A resident of Main Avenue reported his neighbor has been coming into his yard and cutting down his tree. The report was taken on Oct. 30 at 7:28 a.m.
• A resident of Crest Avenue reported someone carved the words “Die Diana” into the front door of the residence. The report was taken at 3:35 p.m. on Oct. 30.
• A resident of La Mesa Court reported two juveniles threw a pumpkin through a window of the residence. The report was taken on Oct. 31 at 10:30 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident said someone threw a pumpkin at her Honda Civic, damaging the rear of the vehicle. The report was taken at 12:23 p.m. on Nov. 1.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone threw a pumpkin at the resident’s vehicle, breaking the rear lights. The report was taken on Nov. 1 at 6:21 p.m.
• A resident of the La Crosse Village Apartments reported mailboxes in the complex were vandalized over the weekend. The damage is so severe the boxes cannot be opened, the resident said. The report was taken at 12:25 p.m. on Nov. 3.
• A resident of the Village Avante Apartment Homes reported kids playing in front of her residence hit a window with a baseball and broke it. The report was taken on Nov. 4 at 1:01 p.m.
• A resident of the Acacia Mobile Home Park, who told police she was arrested the night before for vandalizing her boyfriend’s vehicle, reported her car was “scraped up” and she believes her boyfriend did it “as retaliation.” The report was taken at 3:26 p.m. on Nov. 8.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported someone “wrote” on his Honda Accord using “some kind of tape or white-out type substance.” He told police it may have been his wife because they are going through a divorce. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 8:57 p.m.
Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of Cory Drive reported her rear license plate was stolen from her Honda Accord. The report was taken at 1:29 a.m. on Oct. 30.
• A resident of Garden Way reported someone stole the rear license plate from his truck. The report was taken on Nov. 4 at 3:30 p.m.
• A resident of Wright Avenue reported someone took the rear plate from the resident’s van. The report was taken at 3:55 p.m. on Nov. 4.
• A resident of Garden Way reported the rear license plate was stolen from the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken on Nov. 4 at 6:03 p.m.
• The rear license plate was stolen from a Plymouth Fury. The report was taken at 11:57 a.m. on Nov. 7.
• The rear license plate was stolen from a Ford Explorer. The report was taken on Nov. 7 at 12:47 p.m.
• The rear license plate was stolen from a Chevy Suburban. The report was taken at 9:41 a.m. on Nov. 8.
• The rear license plate was stolen from one of Paramit Corporation’s vehicles. The report was taken on Nov. 10 at 3:18 p.m.
Burglary: Two construction trailers at the Quail Creek development were broken into and various tools were stolen. The report was taken on Nov. 8 at 7:44 a.m.
• A construction trailer on Condit Road was broken into and items were stolen from a locked toolbox. The report was taken at 8:34 a.m. on Nov. 10.
• Someone broke into the Goodwill building, apparently using wire cutters to open the rear gate. It was unclear at the time of the report what was stolen. The report was taken on Nov. 10 at 1:55 p.m.
• A resident of La Mar Court reported someone stole a bicycle and a cell phone from the open garage of the residence overnight. The report was taken at 8:41 a.m. on Nov. 11.
• A resident of Bayo Claros Circle reported he left the garage of the resdidence open overnight and someone came in and stole his tools, which he valued at $1,000-$2,000. The repaort was taken on Nov. 12 at 5:12 a.m.
Stolen vehicle: A GMC van was stolen from the Cochrane Village Apartments. The report was taken on Nov. 3 at 11:39 a.m.
• A Volkswagen Passat was stolen from the parking lot at Betsy’s Restaurant. The owner left the keys in the vehicle and left it unattended for a few minutes. The report was taken at 8:05 p.m. on Nov. 3.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported he was at a party at the Del Monte Village Townhomes the previous evening and his Dodge Neon was stolen while he was at the party. The report was taken on Nov. 7 at 9:21 a.m.
• A Chevy Silverado was reported stolen while parked at Village Avante. The report was taken at 10:52 p.m. on Nov. 7.
• A Morgan Hill resident said his friend left the resident’s keys in the resident’s Honda Civic and it was stolen. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 9:39 p.m.
Grand theft: A resident of John Telfer Drive reported a hand-carved Japanese lantern was stolen from the resident’s front yard. The report was taken on Nov. 6 at 11:36 a.m.
• Two units, or 122 sheets, of plywood were stolen from an open lumber yard over the weekend. The plywood is valued at $1,200. The report was taken at 7:35 a.m. on Nov. 10.
• A resident of Magnolia Court reported that three times someone has entered the front yard of the residence and stolen ceramic figureines. The resident told police her husband had installed fake cameras on the porch, and the wires to those had been cut and the “cameras” stolen. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 2:33 p.m.
Petty theft: A Live Oak High student reported the student’s bike, which was locked with a chain at the school was stolen. The chain had been cut. The report was taken on Oct. 31 at 3:52 p.m.
• Nob Hill Foods reported a male juvenile shoplifting. The report was taken at 8:45 p.m. on Oct. 31.
• Executive Inn Suites reported a 6’ by 8’ floor mat with the company logo on it stolen from the hotel overnight. The report was taken on Nov. 1 at 10:24 a.m.
• A resident of Sorrel Way reported several parts were stolen from his bicycle. The report was taken at 3:46 p.m. on Nov. 4.
• A resident of Wright Avenue reported a bicycle was stolen from the front porch of the residence. The report was taken on Nov. 5 at 9:07 a.m.
• Kalman Manufacturing reported that two suspects were cutting peppercorns from the trees at the business. The suspects had been asked to stop on another occasion. The report was taken at 2:34 p.m. on Nov. 5.
• A resident of Fountain Court reported she saw suspects drive up and take her mail from her mailbox. The report was taken on Nov. 10 at 12:08 p.m.
• A resident of Katybeth Way reported her daughter’s cell phone was stolen. The report was taken at 1 p.m. on Nov. 10.
• A resident of the 18300 block of Capistrano Way reported that his mail was stolen and fournd in his neighbor’s back yard. Several checks were stolen, but he was not sure at the time of the report how many in total. The report was taken on Nov. 12 at 8:44 a.m.
