• Lawrence M. Silva, 55, of San Jose was cited and released. The report was taken at 1:16 p.m. on Feb. 18.

• Christopher P. Martus, 18, of Morgan Hill was cited and released. In the same incident, a 17-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released and also charged with possession of alcohol by a minor. Ryan C. Rosen, 19, of Morgan Hill was cited and released charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Feb. 22 at 1:13 a.m.

• Pedro S Chajon, 36, of Morgan Hill was cited and released. He was also charged with driving on a suspended driver’s license. The report was taken at 12:46 a.m. on Feb. 24.

Battery: A 51-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with battery of a non-cohabitating former spouse and rape of a non-cohabitating former spouse. The report was taken on Feb. 23 at 9:20 a.m.

• A 17-year-old Morgan Hill female was cited and released. The report was taken at 3:10 p.m. on Feb. 23.

• Ramiro E. Lopez, 35, of Morgan Hill was cited and released. The report was taken on Feb. 24 at 2:56 p.m.

• A 16-year-old Morgan Hill female was cited and released. The report was taken at 7:58 a.m. on Feb. 26.

Arrests and citations: Bryan G. Warrick, 19, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with commercial burglary of the 7-11 and resisting arrest. The report was taken on Feb. 13 at 3:02 a.m.

• Raymond A. Molina, 19, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with giving false ID to a police officer. He also had an outstanding no-bail warrant. The report was taken at 9:51 p.m. on Feb. 13.

• Johnny Rodriguez, 58, of Morgan Hill was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken on Feb. 14 at 12:20 a.m.

• A 16-year-old San Jose male was taken to juvenile hall charged with burglary and assault with intent to commit sex crimes. The report was taken at 11:54 p.m. on Feb. 15.

• A 19-year-old Sacramento male and a 47-year-old Rockland male were cited and released charged with child endangerment. The report was taken on Feb. 17 at 7:41 p.m.

• Marc Tolin, 53, of Morgan Hill was cited and released on suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 12:27 a.m. on Feb. 18.

• Felipe Flores, 29, of San Jose was taken to county jail charged with trying to fill a forged or altered prescription. The report was taken on Feb. 18 at 9:32 a.m.

• Nelida Hernandez, 20, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with embezzlement. The report was taken at 3:50 p.m. on Feb. 19.

• A 17-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released charged with petty theft. The report was taken on Feb. 21 at 5:05 p.m.

• A 17-year-old San Martin male was cited and released charged with trespassing on the Live Oak High campus and refusing to leave. The report was taken at 12:27 p.m. on Feb. 23.

• Paul T. Curatolo, Jr., 18, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with residential burglary and conspiracy. A 17-year-old Hollister male was also arrested on the same charges but was cited and released. The report was taken on Feb. 24 at 10:47 a.m.

• A 12-year-old Morgan Hill male was cited and released charged with bringing a knife to Britton Middle School. The report was taken at 2:55 p.m. on Feb. 24.

• Jose Aguilar, 28, of Salinas, and Jose I. Martinez, 19, of Salinas were taken to county jail charged with possession of a stolen vehicle. The report was taken on Feb. 24 at 3:12 p.m.

• Martin E. Rios, Sr., 25, of Morgan Hill was taken to county jail charged with possession of a controlled substance; he also had a no-bail county warrant. In the same incident, Lyle E. Peterson, 24, of Morgan Hill was also taken to county jail charged with possession of a controlled substance, probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia. The report was taken at 4:18 p.m. on Feb. 25.

Arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance: Ovael Lopez, 23, of San Jose was cited and released. He was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. The report was taken on Feb. 15 at 4:02 p.m.

• Gerald E. Reynolds, III, 25 of Morgan Hill was cited and released. The report was taken at 8:02 p.m. on Feb. 18.

Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of the 16100 block of Keith Way reported someone stole the registration tab from the license plate of the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken at 1:48 p.m. on March 9.

• A resident of the 17600 block of Crest Avenue reported his rear license plate was stolen on March 9. The report was taken on March 12 at 4:12 p.m.

Grand theft: A resident of Waterton Court reported someone stole her credit card number and is using it to buy airline tickets and car rentals. The report was taken on Feb. 28 at 9:34 a.m.

• Three RSB power cords valued at $750 were stolen from a construction site at Sunnyside/Watsonville Road. The report was taken at 7:52 a.m. on March 1.

• A resident of the Madrone Mobile Estates reported that two weeks ago, her Kirby vacuum cleaner was stolen by her son. She said her son also stole her digital camera from her purse and took a Sony PlayStation. The report was taken on March 3 at 8:58 p.m.

• A resident of La Mar Court reported a tile saw valued at $1,000 was taken from his flatbed truck overnight. The report was taken on March 13 at 1:24 p.m.

CHP

ACCIDENT: A 74-year-old woman suffered a broken neck Wednesday when the car her husband was driving crashed on U.S. 101 just south of the East Main Avenue overpass, according to the California Highway Patrol.s of east main overpass

Vaughn Hough, 78, and his wife Beverly, of Ventura, were southbound when their 2000 Toyota Avalon crashed at 6:18 a.m. CHP officers are investigating the cause of the accident.

Beverly Hough was taken by helicopter to San Jose Medical Center, where she was listed in serious condition Wednesday evening. Vaughn Hough complained of chest pain, CHP officer David Singer said. He was taken to Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy. Both Houghs were wearing seat belts, Singer reported.

SHERIFF

Auto burglary: A $20 car charger and a $40 parking pass were stolen from a Mercury Tracer parked at the “A” Gavilan College parking lot between 11:15 a.m. and 2:15 p.m. on Feb. 20. The report was taken at noon on Feb. 23.

Assault and battery: A male resident reported someone drove a gold Ford Probe onto his property between 5:40 and 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 28. The resident reportedly went in front of the vehicle to talk to the driver; the vehicle started to slow down, but allegedly suddenly sped up, forcing the resident to move in order to avoid being run over. The resident then hit the car with a rake, leaving a crack in the windshield. As the suspects left, the passenger was heard yelling, “We’ll be back.” The report was taken at 5:50 p.m. on Feb. 28.

Drugs: Sheriff’s deputies arrested David Kocisko at his home, at 2 a.m. on Tuesday, March 23 for being under the influence of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor.

• Sheriff’s deputies arrested Lisa Clark and Jason Deas at noon on Monday, March 22 at Mount Madonna. Clark was charged with being under the influence of a stimulant and Deas was charged with possession of burglary tools. Allegedly, deputies found a screwdriver, wire snips, rubber gloves, flashlight and knife in Deas’ pockets upon consent.

• Jesus Jimenez was taken to county jail on charges of suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. The report was taken at 10:30 p.m. on March 7

Theft: Someone stole a stereo worth $400 from a 1988 Ford Rambler RV in San Martin between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. on March 22, as reported March 29.

• Two suspects allegedly stole a blue 1981 Chevy pickup between 4:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Friday, March 26. The theft was reported at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 27.

• Someone used a male victim’s checks and account number to make purchases worth $624.84 between Feb. 16 and March 26. Suspects Isilda Boron and Lonny Candelaria are still at large for the identity theft.

• Someone stole more than $3,000 worth of CDs from a vehicle at Day & Night Towing Yard, 13165-C Monterey Road in San Martin, between 3-5 p.m. on March 17. The grand theft was reported at 10 p.m. on March 23.

• Two tee mats, two tee markers and a flag pole were stolen from the Gavilan Golf Course, 5050 Santa Teresa Boulevard, between 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 21 and 7 a.m. on Monday, March 22. The suspects created numerous divots in the first green. The incident was reported at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, March 22.

• Unknown suspect(s) dug a 18 by 24 inch trench along a fence at a San Martin business at 13895 Llagas Ave., entered the property and stole five dash stereos worth a total of about $1,000 from five vehicles.
