Battery: A resident of La Crosse Drive reported her husband physically and verbally attacked her on March 21. The report was taken on April 2 at 1:02 p.m.

• A resident of Village Avante Apartment homes reported he was “jumped” by three men outside the apartment office. The report was taken at 5:35 p.m. on April 3.

• A resident of Pacific Hills Manor reported she has been kicked, beaten and bit by a “fat man” at the facility for three days. She had multiple contusions on her back, arms and legs in various stages of healing. The report was taken on April 4 at 4:33 p.m.

• A resident of the 1500 block of Bluebonnet Way reported approximately 30 juveniles outside of her residence beating up her son. The report was taken at 9:26 p.m. on April 10.

• A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported her husband hit her. The report was taken on April 10 at 11:44 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s 16-year-old daughter was sexually battered by someone she knew three days earlier. The resident told police the incident occurred in front of a house near the library at night. The report was taken at 4:45 p.m. on April 12.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported her Toyota Camry was broken into while parked in the Safeway parking lot. A window was shattered, but it was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The report was taken on April 5 at 9:29 p.m.

• A resident of La Crosse Drive reported one of his neighbors was awakened by a car alarm going off and went outside, scaring off several subjects who were breaking car windows. Three vehicles were broken into, but it was unknown if anything was stolen at the time of the report. The report was taken at 8:20 a.m. on April 11.

• A resident of La Crosse Drive reported her Chevy Tahoe was broken into sometime over the weekend. A window was shattered. The report was taken on April 12 at 9:11 a.m.

Threats: Someone staying at the Budget Inn reported her ex-brother-in-law is making threats against her. She said he called and told her he is “going to pay her a visit,” and “you know what happens to snitches.” The report was taken on April 1 at 9:45 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported she received several calls on her cell phone from someone she knows who told her she was going to beat up the resident and slash her tires. The next day, while the resident’s vehicle was parked in the Safeway parking lot, the tires were slashed. The report was taken at 10:31 p.m. on April 10.

Burglary: A resident of the 1600 block of Almond Way reported her son came home to find the residence burglarized. The computer was stolen, the dog was gone, probably through a hole in the fence. The son’s stereo was found in the field behind the house. The report was taken on April 1 at 4:18 p.m.

• Cidco/Wal-Mart Warehouse reported a chain on the gate to the business was broken but it was not clear at the time of the report if anything was taken. The business reported a previous attempted burglary two days earlier. The report was taken at 12:38 a.m. on April 4.

• The YMCA daycare center at Barrett Elementary reported several items were stolen from the center over the weekend, including computer games, a radio and a phone. The building was possibly entered through a window. The report was taken on April 5 at 6:33 a.m.

• Live Oak High reported room 557 at the school was broken into over the weekend. A computer was taken, and the door to the room had been forced open. The report was taken at 8:02 a.m. on April 5.

• Advent Lutheran Church reported the daycare center at the church was broken into over the weekend through a window. It was unclear at the time of the report if anything was stolen. The daycare is in the rear of the building. The report was taken on April 5 at 8:12 a.m.

• A resident of Manor Court reported someone broke into her home, stole her checks and set her couch on fire the week before. She told police she thinks she knows the suspect. Two of the checks have been cashed. The report was taken at 11:25 a.m. on April 10.

• A resident of Monte Vista Apartments told police a five gallon jar of coins and some Confederate money were stolen from his apartment. He told police possible suspects are the maintenance crew. The report was taken on April 13 at 10:06 a.m.

Child abuse: A Morgan Hill resident reported her stepchildren are being physically and verbally abused by their mother at their home in Humboldt. The report was taken on April 13 at 2:38 p.m.

Vandalism: A resident of the 600 block of Llagas Vista Drive reported her mailbox was knocked over overnight. The report was taken on April 12 at 8:19 a.m.

• A resident of the 1600 block of Llagas Road reported someone crashed into her fence and knocked it down. She told police there are still pieces of the vehicle in her yard. The report was taken at 10 a.m. on April 12.

• A resident of the 400 block of Diana Avenue reported someone “keyed” her car overnight. The report was taken on April 12 at 2:32 p.m.

Identity theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported over 13 accounts had been opened in her name by someone else. The report was taken on April 5 at 2:22 p.m.

• A resident of Encino Drive reported someone opened an account in the resident’s name. The report was taken at 3:49 p.m. on April 5.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported his nephew used his name and “now has $10,000.” The report was taken on April 9 at 11:16 a.m.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of West Fifth Street reported his Eagle Talon was stolen overnight. The report was taken on April 3 at 7:59 a.m.

• A Dodge pickup was stolen from the Mt. Madonna YMCA between March 30 and April 5. The report was taken at 2:14 p.m. on April 5.

• A Chevy S10 was stolen from a residence on East Fifth Street the day before. The vehicle owner has a suspect in mind. The report was taken on April 5 at 4:30 p.m.

• A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported the resident’s Honda Prelude was stolen overnight. The report was taken at 5:59 a.m. on April 13.

Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of East Edmundson Avenue reported the rear license plate was stolen from his Honda Accord overnight. The report was taken on April 4 at 9:21 a.m.

• An employee of Putnam Logistics reported the rear license plate from his Ford Taurus was stolen two weeks earlier. The report was taken at 1:08 p.m. on April 5.

• A resident of Cochrane Village Apartments reported someone placed a jack under her Honda Civic and stole the right rear tire from the vehicle. The report was taken on April 9 at 6:29 a.m.

• A resident of the 500 block of Farallon Drive reported the rear license plate was stolen from the resident’s vehicle. The report was taken at 11:54 a.m. on April 13.

• A resident of the 600 block of Claremont Drive reported her rear license plate was stolen from her Ford Explorer overnight. The report was taken on April 14 at 6:47 a.m.

Grand theft: Kragen Auto Parts reported two males came into the store, one of them distracted the clerk while the other took a go cart. The report was taken on April 4 at 8:22 p.m.

• Verizon reported items were stolen over the weekend from several company vehicles and a shed. The report was taken at 7:31 a.m. on April 12.

Petty theft: A resident of La Crosse Drive reported a bike valued at approximately $200-300 was taken from the residence on March 30 or 31. The report was taken on April 1 at 2:11 p.m.

• A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was stolen from her purse while she was at the library. The report was taken at 5:44 p.m. on April 5.

• A cell phone was stolen approximately one month earlier from Britton Middle School. The report was taken on April 7 at 2:29 p.m.

• A downtown employee reported seeing two juveniles throw a bike over the embankment, then coming back later to get the bike. South Valley Bike reported a bike was stolen while one of two juveniles was ordering parts. The report was taken at 6:16 p.m. on April 9.
