Burglary: Someone broke the pane of a window to unlocked a front door and burglarize a residence between 4:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 6. Several items were also stolen for an estimate of more than $2,000, as reported at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday, July 6.

• Somebody burglarized a locked residence between July 1 and 6, managing to steal tools and a TV worth about $3,635, as reported at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 6.

• Someone entered a garage through an unlocked door and stole 4 dual-pane windows and 4 boxes of tile floor and paint, worth about $620, between 11:30 p.m. Sunday, July 4 and 9 a.m. Monday, July 5, as reported at 1:30 p.m. Monday, July 5.

• Someone smashed the window of an RV parked in a resident’s driveway and stole 2 TVs, stereo equipment and a CB radio between July 9 and 15, as reported at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 15. Four latent prints were recovered from the scene.

• Somebody broke into a trailer on Sycamore Avenue in San Martin between July 12 and 15, and stole 2 TVs and miscellaneous items worth more than $850, as reported at 7:55 a.m. Thursday, July 15.

• Someone stole the dash stereos from vehicles parked at a business on Fitzgerald Avenue in San Martin between 7:30 and 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 13. Latent fingerprints were recovered from the scene.

• Someone broke the side window of a business on Railroad Avenue in Morgan Hill and stole $250 in loose and rolled change between 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 12 and 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 13.

Theft: Someone stole 16 Bovine calves and branded one calf with another brand, a loss of about $6,400, between Jan. 1 and July 9, as reported at 3 p.m. Friday, July 9.

• Somebody took a tool carrier worth about $11,000 between April 9 and July 9, as reported at 3:30 p.m. Friday, July 9.

• Someone stole a gold/yellow 1973 GMC from 14630 Watsonville Road in Morgan Hill between 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 6 and noon Thursday, July 8, as reported at 1:10 p.m. Thursday, July 8.

• Somebody stole 14 checks from an office and cashed them for $13,959 between June 25 and July 7, as reported at 10:20 a.m. Thursday, July 8.

• Somebody stole a 1995 Mitsubishi Galant with Arizona license plates from Arizona Circle in Gilroy between 10:30 p.m. Saturday, July 17 and 9 a.m. Sunday, July 18, as reported at 12:19 p.m. Sunday, July 18.

• Someone stole a 1993 Ford F150 from Dougherty Avenue at about 7:50 a.m. Saturday, July 17. The vehicle was last seen driving East on Live Oak Avenue toward Monterey Highway.

• Somebody stole a brown female Yorkshire Terrior named Peaches from a pen adjacent to a trailer on Butterfly Lane in Morgan Hill between 1 and 3 p.m. July 13. The dog, worth $10,000, was reported stole at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 14.

• Someone stole a lawn mower, weed wacker and blower, worth a total of more than $750, from a residence on Monterey Highway in San Jose between June 22 and July 5, as reported at 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, July 13.

• Somebody stole a tractor disc from a property at Prunedale Road and Pacheco Pass Highway between March 1 and June 30, as reported at 1:05 p.m. Monday, July 12.

Assault and Battery: Sigfredo Navarro, 28, of Salinas, at 5:06 p.m. Friday, July 9 at 13845 Shelia Ave. in Morgan Hill, on suspicion of battery of a police officer and resisting, delay and/or obstructing an officer, misdemeanors. Allegedly, Navarro grabbed the officer’s badge and, after being forced to the ground and arrested, repeatedly head-butted the cage and tried to kick out the window in the officer’s car. He was then placed in a wrap for his safety and booked in jail.

• Shawn Miner Lytle, 40, of 950 San Bruno Ave., at 3:10 a.m. Thursday, July 8 at San Bruno and Dougherty avenues on suspicion of misdemeanor assault and battery. Allegedly, Lytle grabbed a victim with both hands and threw him up against a trailer, causing a gash to the forehead. He was booked in the Main Jail.

• A victim was beaten by several males at Hecker Pass and Watsonville roads at 12:58 a.m. Sunday, July 18. Suspects are unknown and at-large.

Vandalism: Somebody poured sugar into the gas tank of a lawn mower on Monterey Highway between July 11-14, a damage of about $500, as reported at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, July 15.
