• A 16-year-old San Jose female was cited and released to a parent charged with curfew violation, suspicion of being drunk in public and possession of tobacco. The report was taken at 11:16 p.m. on Nov. 16.
• A 23-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with violation of a domestic court order and possession of marijuana. The report was taken on Nov. 18 at 1:10 p.m.
• Alan Hart, 49, listed as a transient was cited and released charged with suspicion of being drunk in public. The report was taken at 5:11 p.m. on Nov. 19.
Threats: A Morgan Hill resident reported receiving harassing phone calls for over a week. The resident told police the caller was a male and someone the resident recognized. The police gave the resident a reporting log. The report was taken on Nov. 12 at 2:58 p.m.
• A resident of Morgan Hill told police the mother of his child is stalking him, calling him late at night and telling him she’s driving by and can see his light on, leaving harassing messages on his pager. The report was taken at 5:09 p.m. on Nov. 12.
Burglary: An employee of a business in the 18600 block of Sutter Blvd. reported someone broke into the business overnight and stole a bicycle. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 8:21 a.m.
• A Morgan Hill restaurant was reported burglarized. When employees arrived in the morning, the side door was open, the restaurant was “messed up” and the cash register was on the floor. The report was taken at 8:42 a.m. on Nov. 14.
• A resident of the Archstone Apartment Homes told police someone broke into her apartment and left the front door open. The report was taken on Nov. 14 at 5:35 p.m.
Vandalism: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone wrote on the garage door and key box of a condominium and left feces in front of the garage. The resident may have some suspect information. The report was taken at 9:12 a.m. on Nov. 11.
• A Morgan Hill business reported a window of the business was shot and shattered over the weekend. A small silver “ball bearing” was found among the glass. Damage is estimated to be $350. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 2:34 p.m.
• A resident of Morgan Hill reported a BB was shot through the back window of the resident’s Jetta while parked in the carport. The window was broken but nothing was stolen from the vehicle. The report was taken at 9:41 a.m. on Nov.. 14.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported the lock on her garage door was damaged. Something was apparently put inside the lock, because the resident’s key wouldn’t go in the lock. She said the vandal apparently also urinated on the handle. The report was taken on Nov. 15 at :02 a.m.
• A window of a building on Woodview Drive was shot out. The pellet was found inside. The report was taken at 9:48 a.m. on Nov. 15.
Tampering with a vehicle: A resident of the Acacia Mobile Home Park reported her son’s vehicle was broken into. A window was smashed and some wires were cut. Damage is estimated to be $500. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident told police someone attempted to steal her vehicle overnight. Someone apparently tried to force open a door and broke a window. The report was taken at 2:43 p.m. on Nov. 11.
Battery: A 33-year-old Morgan Hill male was taken to county jail charged with domestic battery. The report was taken on Nov. 16 at 1:33 a.m.
Auto burglary: An employee reported two company vehicles were broken into over the weekend, a Ford van and an Izuzu truck. The Ford could have been left unlocked; the passenger side window of the Izuzu was shattered. A gas card was stolen, the dashboard of one of the vehicles was torn apart and it appears as if the suspects tried to steal a radio. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 9:36 a.m. .
Stolen vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported the resident’s Nissan Maxima was parked at Alpha Automotive Repair on Monterey Road and was stolen over the weekend. An employee of the business said they may have left the key under the mat. The report was taken at 12;31 p.m. on Nov. 11.
Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident told police someone he used to work with opened a credit card account at Montgomery Ward with his Social Security number. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 2:36 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported she was checking her bank account and noticed a $250 check that she did not write had cleared the bank. She then noticed her checks had been stolen. The report was taken at 10:50 a.m. on Nov. 14.
Grand theft: An employee of a business in the 16000 block of Vineyard Blvd. reported someone took copper piping, a transport machine and targets from the shipping dock over the weekend. The employee told police there was a tape of two suspects. The report was taken at 8:36 a.m. on Nov. 11.
• Plants were stolen from a construction site at Tilton and Hale over the weekend. The estimated value is $2,000. The report was taken on Nov. 11 at 11:16 a.m.
• A Morgan Hill business owner reported that one of his employees is stealing from him, handing out cash refunds to people he knows. The owner said the amount is in the range of $40,000. The report was taken at 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 13.
• A Morgan Hill business reported 10 frames were stolen overnight. The frames were worth approximately $900-1.000. The report was taken on Nov. 13 at 2:27 p.m.
Petty theft: A cell phone was stolen from the Pizza Hut restaurant. The report was taken at 10:09 a.m. on Oct. 26.
• An employee of the Country Store on S. Monterey Road reported a male suspect took a case of beer from the store. The report was taken on Oct. 26 at 7:54 p.m. .
• A Morgan Hill resident reported she left her purse in a shopping cart in front of Safeway grocery store, and it was stolen. She said the purse contained her checkbook, cell phone, credit cards and house and work keys. The report was taken at 3:46 p.m. on Oct. 27.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet was taken from her purse while se was shopping at the Safeway grocery store. The wallet contained cash, credit cards and identification. The report was taken on Oct. 27 at 5:34 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported her cell phone was stolen while she was shopping at Target. The report was taken at 3:19 p.m. on Oct. 29.
• An employee of JoAnn Fabrics and Crafts reported three juveniles were in the store and one of them stole a pair of scissors. The report was taken on Nov. 9 at 8:35 p.m.
• An employee of Lyon’s Restaurant reported two males left without paying their $32 bill. The report was taken at 9:37 a.m. on Nov. 10.
• A resident of Morgan Hill reported someone stole her mountain bike from the carport. The bike was valued at $200. She also told police someone tampered with her husband’s car and cut some wires. The report was taken on Nov. 10 at 8:34 p.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported his cell phone stolen the night before. The report was taken at 8:05 a.m. on Nov. 11.
• A resident of the Holiday Lake area reported someone is stealing signs that are posted at the entrance to the estate. The resident told police this has occurred since August. The report was taken on Nov. 12 at 8:07 a.m.
• A Morgan hill resident reported a cell phone stolen from the resident’s backpack while the resident was at the library. The report was taken at 4:32 a.m. on Nov. 12.
• A resident of Morgan Hill reported that while her daughter was staying with her she took a key for a lock box and stole $300 in cash from the lock box. The resident told police she wants prosecution. The report was taken on Nov. 13 at 11:16 a.m.
• A Morgan Hill resident reported she had her new license plates with 2003 sticker in her closet at home and someone stole them. The report was taken at 3:41 p.m. on Nov. 14.
