Burglary: Someone entered the rear of Poppy’s Fish Market on East Third Street and stole $750 in tools, including a skill saw and an air compressor, after a rear door was left unlocked overnight. The report was taken 10:45am.

Embezzlement: The Thomas Kinkade company on Lightpost Way reported an employee who was terminated the day before is selling paintings from the company at his home. The report was taken at 1:53pm.
March 25
- Auto burglary: A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported their BMW was broken into overnight, along with a Honda Accord. Rocks were used to shatter windows of the vehicles, and items were stolen. The report was taken at 7:21am.

Burglary: A resident of Keith Way reported she found the door of her apartment ajar this morning, and her cell phone was stolen. The report was taken at 10:15am.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of Las Casas de San Pedro reported someone stole their Honda Civic overnight. The report was taken at 10:19am.

Stolen vehicle: A resident of Brega Court reported their Ford Explorer was stolen overnight. The report was taken at 12:21pm.

Petty theft: The manager of the Acacia Mobile Home Park reported a washing machine is missing from the properties two residents were evicted from a few days earlier. The report was taken at 1:03pm.

Fraud: A Morgan Hill resident reported his wallet was stolen earlier in the day, and later his credit card was used to make charges of over $4,000. The report was taken at 8:01pm.

- Burglary: Someone tried to break into the M and H Tavern by attempting to pry open the rear door. The report was taken at 5:49am.

Burglary: El Capri restaurant reported someone broke into the restaurant overnight. A window was shattered, and $500 was stolen. The report was taken at 10:49am.

Vandalism: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone kicked their car while it was parked at Vineyard Boulevard. The report was taken at 1:49pm.

- Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported she set her purse down by the drink machine at the Jack in the Box restaurant on Condit Road and her wallet and other items were stolen from the purse. The report was taken at 8:51am.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported her Volkswagen Jetta was broken into while it was parked at the 24 Hour Fitness Club in Tennant Station. A window was shattered, and her purse and cell phone were stolen. The report was taken at 10:04am.

Battery: A Morgan Hill resident reported her husband hit her and hit her child in the face before leaving for work because she forgot to turn down the heater the night before. She told police her husband also threatened her. The report was taken at 1:25pm.

- Auto burglary: A resident of La Mesa Court reported someone entered the resident’s unlocked Mazda pickup overnight and stole the stereo. The report was taken at 7:13am.

Auto burglary: Herald Engineering Services on Monterey Road reported a Dodge Caravan parked at the business overnight was broken into, and a speaker was stolen. The report was taken at 8:47am.

Auto burglary: A resident of La Crosse Drive reported someone used a “slim Jim” to break into their Ford Taurus. A laptop and a Palm Pilot were stolen from the Taurus. The report was taken at 10:27am.

Identity theft: A resident of Sorrel Drive reported his birth father used his Social Security number to open an account, and now the business is attempting to attach his wages for payment. The report was taken at 12:21pm.

Auto burglary: A resident of Easy Street reported their cell phone and wallet were stolen from their unlocked vehicle overnight. The report was taken at 12:27pm.
March 29
- Vandalism: A Morgan Hill resident reported her son’s Jeep Cherokee was vandalized while it was parked at Live Oak High School on East Main Avenue. A tire was slashed, she reported. The report was taken at 5:11pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Sorrel Drive reported a basketball hoop was stolen from the garage area. The hoop is valued at $350. The report was taken at 8:04pm.
