Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a duffel bag containing clothes and shoes and an ice chest containing food. The report was taken at 5:47pm.
June 5
Auto burglary: Alpha Automotive Repair reported a Pontiac Fiero was broken into overnight. A window was shattered and the stereo and CB radio were stolen. The report was taken at 8:39am.
Petty theft: A Sobrato High School student reported her cell phone was stolen while she was at school. The report was taken at 12:47pm.
Grand theft: The driver of a delivery truck reported someone opened the rear of his vehicle while he was parked at the Gas and Shop on Condit Road. Approximately 49 cartons of cigarettes, valued at approximately $1,862 were stolen. The report was taken at 1:59pm.
Petty theft: Rite Aid reported a male suspect stole some liquor from the store. The report was taken at 4:17pm.
Vandalism: A resident of the Hill Haven Mobile Home Park reported someone cut a fence at the complex and broke the lock of a storage unit. The report was taken at 5:27pm.
June 6
Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported her wallet and medication were stolen while she was moving from her apartment at Terracina Apartments on East Dunne Avenue. The report was taken at 11:51am.
Domestic violence: A resident of Angelica Way reported she was having an argument with her husband when he slapped her in the face, hit her on the head, pushed her and choked her. She told police her husband has physically abused her before, but she never reported it. She also said she is filing for divorce. The report was taken at 12:07pm.
Vandalism: The windshield of a Honda Civic was shattered while the car was parked at Live Oak High School. The report was taken at 2:45pm.
Petty theft: A resident of Venetian Way reported a BMX bike was stolen from his back yard. He told police someone he knows threatened to steal the bike and believes this is who took it. The report was taken at 8:40pm.
June 7
Identity theft: A resident of Diana Avenue reported someone used his Social Security number to open an account with Sprint telephone company. The report was taken at 4:17pm.
June 8
Vandalism: Outside lights at a professional office complex on West Dunne Avenue were broken overnight. The report was taken at 9:32am.
Stolen vehicle: A resident of Las Casas de San Pedro reported her ex-boyfriend stole her Mitsubishi on June 5. She also told police she has a restraining order against him. The report was taken at 2:36pm.
