  • Auto burglary: Another resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported their Chevy Cavalier was broken into overnight. The lock was picked, and the stereo and CDs were stolen. The report was taken at 10:43am.

  • Auto burglary: A Honda Civic parked in the lot at the Cochrane Village Apartments was broken into overnight, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken at 11:11am.

  • Auto burglary: Another Honda was broken into while it was parked overnight at the Cochrane Village Apartments. The report was taken at 11:32am.

  • Auto burglary: A resident of the Cochrane Village Apartments reported his Dodge Ram pickup was broken into, and the stereo was stolen. The report was taken at 12:08pm.

  • Petty theft: The Dollar Tree reported two females shopping with a child in a stroller walked out of the store with a shopping cart of approximately $30 in merchandise. The report was taken at 4:24pm.

January 30

  • Burglary: A construction trailer at a site on Shafer Avenue was broken into overnight, and electrical wire was stolen. The report was taken at 7:55am.

  • Vandalism: A resident of Ravenswood Court reported someone has put soap into his Koi pond in his backyard several times, causing the fish to die. The report was taken at 8:39am.

  • Vandalism: A window of the Britton Middle School cafeteria and a window of the auditorium were shattered, but no one entered the school, and nothing was stolen. The report was taken at 10:01am.

January 31

  • Stolen vehicle: A Toyota Tercel was parking in the parking lot of the AM/PM Mini Mart on Dec. 10, and the owner noticed it was missing on Jan. 27. The report was taken at 2:25pm.

  • Auto burglary: A resident of Taylor Avenue reported their locked Ford F150 was broken into overnight. A navigation system and a digital camera were stolen. The report was taken at 4:51pm.

-Petty theft: The Dollar Tree reported a suspect comes into the store every day and puts items into his pockets without paying for them. The report was taken at 7:45pm.

February 1

-Vandalism: A Nissan Maxima parked at the Crossroads Christian School on Wright Avenue was “keyed” during the morning hours. The report was taken at 1:34pm.
