Auto burglary: An East Central Avenue resident reported someone broke into her Lexus and stole her purse, breaking a window to enter the Lexus. The report was taken at 4:20am.
Burglary: A Del Monte Village Townhomes resident reported she left a window partially open when she left home in the morning and when she returned found someone had entered the residence and stolen a stereo, computer and TV. The report was taken at 1:38pm.
Stolen vehicle: A Morgan Hill resident reported his utility trailer was stolen from the area of Barrett Road and Butterfield Boulevard. The report was taken at 3:55pm.
Auto burglary: A Garden Park Apartments resident reported someone stole a checkbook from their unlocked vehicle. The report was taken at 4:24pm.
Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone stole their Ford Mustang’s wheels’ “spinners.” The report was taken at 6:55pm.

Grand theft: A Waterton Court resident reported someone stole two tires from their Porsche, valued at approximately $700. The report was taken at 9:44am.

Vandalism: The window of a vehicle parked in the Paradise Valley Elementary School parking lot was shattered. The report was taken at 12:31am.

Petty theft: A John Telfer Drive resident reported two bicycles were stolen from the front of the residence. The report was taken at 7:36pm.
Identity theft: An East Main Avenue resident reported someone opened an account with four cell phone numbers under his name. He told police he received a bill from Cingular Wireless for $325.32. The report was taken at 10:40pm.
Nov. 25
Burglary: A Jackson Oaks home was broken into while the owners were out of town for the holiday. An Acura left in the garage was stolen. The report was taken at 9:05pm.
Nov. 26
Vandalism: A Majorca Drive resident reported she was having a party and a large group of uninvited guests showed up; someone broke a window at the residence. The report was taken at 2:40am.
Vandalism: A Mercedes’ window was broken while the car was parked at St. Catherine Church, 17400 Peak Ave. The report was taken at 12:02pm.
Auto burglary: A purse was stolen from an unlocked Ford Excursion while the vehicle was parked at St. Catherine Church, 17400 Peak Ave. The report was taken at 12:09pm.
Nov. 27
Burglary: A model home on Espana Court was broken into overnight, and appliances were stolen from the home. The report was taken at 7:40am.
Petty theft: A cell phone was stolen from the backpack of a Sobrato student while he was at school. The report was taken at 9:30pm.
Arrests:
Sherre R. Gaffney, 27, was cited and released on suspicion of driving under the influence. The report was taken on Nov. 17 at 10:35pm.
Joey M. Montgomery, 24, was arrested for alleged auto theft. The report was taken at 5:20pm on Nov. 18.
Monica J. Varela, 23, was cited and released for alleged possession of marijuana. The report was taken on Nov. 18 at 2:53am.
Marc A. Stefanson, 42, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance. The report was taken at 9:15am on Nov. 18.
Roberto Garcia, Jr., 18, was cited and released for alleged violation of probation. The report was taken on Nov. 18 at 2:56pm.
Nelson J. Reyes, Jr., 19, was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of being drunk in public, and a 15-year-old male was cited and released to a guardian for violation of curfew. The report was taken at 1:50am on Nov. 20.
