Burglary: Farrote Construction reported a site on East Dunne Avenue was burglarized overnight. Someone broke into the construction trailer, hot-wired a forklift and stole the electrical box. The report was taken at 9:30am.

Petty theft: A Morgan Hill resident reported her purse was stolen two days before when she was at East Dunne Avenue and Condit Road. She told police she opened her car door, her purse fell out, and when she went back, the purse was gone. The report was taken at 9:49am.

Vandalism: A resident of the Monte Vista Apartments reported her vehicle was scratched by someone on all sides overnight. The damage is estimated to be $600, she told police. The report was taken at 11:52am.

November 8

Child abuse: A Morgan Hill resident reported her 14-year-old daughter was sexually assaulted on the Oakwood Country School campus. She told police her daughter said the suspect has been sexually harassing her for some time; the latest incident happened while a movie was shown at the school, she said. The report was taken at 6:46am.

Fraud: Walgreens Drug Store on East Dunne Avenue reported several fraudulent prescriptions were called into the store. The report was taken at 3:12pm.

November 9

Rape: A Morgan Hill woman reported she was raped behind the Just Breakfast restaurant in downtown Morgan Hill. She said she had been drinking heavily and originally did not have a clear memory of the event. She was able to give officers a description of the suspect. The report was taken at 1:58am.

Burglary: Frank’s Plumbing on East Dunne Avenue reported someone pried the lock off of the door to the business and stole several items from the business. The report was taken at 8:13am.

Auto burglary: A Morgan Hill resident reported someone broke into his unlocked Jeep Cherokee while it was parked on Easy Street and stole money that was in the ashtray. The report was taken at 1:47pm.

Petty theft: A resident of Las Casas de San Pedro reported a jade ring missing, may have been taken within the last four or five days. Earrings were also taken a few weeks ago, but no report was made. The report was taken at 3:51pm.

Burglary: A resident of Del Monte Avenue reported someone “took apart” a window at the rear of the residence and entered the residence. The report was taken at 4:28pm.

Burglary: A resident of Chargin Drive reported there was an attempted break-in of his house. He said his wife and mother-in-law were home at the time, but they were sleeping and did not see anyone. It appears the suspect used a garbage can to climb over the fence. The report was taken at 6:26pm.
