- Monterey Road, 3:05pm. A resident reported someone slashed three tires of her Ford Explorer overnight.

Oakwood School, John Wilson Way, 4:01pm. The school’s facilities director reported someone “tagged” the school, etching in the glass windows and on the doors.

Auto burglary
- La Alameda, 4:41pm. A resident reported someone broke into a Toyota Camry parked in the apartment parking lot. A window was shattered, and an iPod was stolen.

Petty theft
- Mary Isabel Herrera, 41, of the 3800 block of Pacheco Pass Highway, 12:04pm Tuesday, at 6705 Camino Arroyo for petty theft and driving with a suspended license.
Fireworks possession
- Joseph Jack Ruiz, 41, of San Jose, 2:30pm Monday, at the Gilroy Police Department, 7301 Hanna St., on a warrant for possession of dangerous fireworks without a permit.

Petty theft
- A subwoofer valued at $100 was stolen from a car in the Wal-Mart Supercenter parking lot, 7150 Arroyo Circle, 2:05am Wednesday. The car’s owner returned during the incident and yelled at the male suspect, who returned two speakers that he had at first tried to steal. The suspect took off with three companions in Honda-type vehicles.
Brandishing a knife
- A male suspect pulled out a knife and threatened to kill a neighbor’s dog after the dog ran toward the man near the intersection of Greenfield Drive and West Luchessa Avenue, 7:40pm Tuesday. The case has been sent to the county district attorney for review.
Strong-arm robbery
- Two Hispanic juvenile females from Morgan Hill attacked a juvenile female and took her cell phone on the 6800 block of Church Street between 3:30 and 4pm Sept. 19.

- Antonio Alvarado Penaloza, 36, of the 3400 block of Martin Avenue in San Jose, 10:30pm Sunday, at his workplace, 2785 Pacheco Pass in Gilroy, for domestic violence.Â
Public intoxication
- Pedro Carlos, 39, of Morgan Hill, 6:30am Sept. 18, at Buena Vista Avenue for public intoxication.
Theft
- Trisha Anne Obryan, 30, of the 10900 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard, 11:50pm Sept. 5, at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and De Bruin Way in San Martin for theft, falsely reporting her identity to police and possession of false identification.
Controlled substance
- Luis Carlos Silva, 34, of the 10900 block of Santa Teresa Boulevard, 11:59pm Sept. 5, at the intersection of Santa Teresa Boulevard and Day Road for delaying an officer and being under the influence of a controlled substance.
Leaving the scene of an accident
- Jesse Gutierrez Castro, Jr., of Fresno, 1am Saturday, at the intersection of highways 152 and 156 on a warrant for leaving the scene of a vehicle accident.
Driving under the influence
- Juan Pablo Perez, 31, of Dowdy Street, 9:46am Friday, at the intersection of Las Animas Road and Monterey Street for driving under the influence and driving without a license.

Cirilo Roman-Centeno, 23, of the 8500 block of Fourth Street, 4:10am Saturday, at U.S. 101 and East Dunne Avenue for driving under the influence.

Burglary

Miscellaneous items, two radio-controlled toy trucks and food were stolen from a shed at a residence on Marcella Avenue, between 3pm Sunday and 6:30pm Monday.

Faucets and building materials worth almost $750 were stolen from a residence in the Plum Apartments in San Martin, between 7pm Sept. 17 and 6:30pm Sept. 19. The unknown suspect or suspects entered the apartment, which was used for storage, through the rear window and exited through the front door.

A cash box containing $100 was stolen from Cherries and More on Holsclaw Road, between 10pm Sept. 18 and 8:30am Sept. 19. The suspect or suspects gained entry by prying open the side door with an unknown instrument.

A safe, jewelry, currency and electrical equipment totaling more than $125,000 were stolen from a residence on Oak Glen Avenue in Morgan Hill between 6:30am Sept. 17 and 12:45pm Sept. 19. The unknown suspect of suspects, which are still at large, broke a glass door to get into the house.
